Just noticed something else Ian, not a bigy, but dont recall anyone else mentioning it, so just in case you have not noticed it either, if a user adds a long entry in there profile field its stretching the side bar.

If your going for a clean line its an issue, if not, its not that important

The text immediately underneath the tabs at the top of the page (that tells you which forum you're on) is way, way too small, I can barely read it. If you consider it's worth having, it should be readable.

The "online now", "offline now" buttons are unnecessarily huge (as are the "edit", "quote" etc buttons). I find them very distracting when reading a post.
