MSE_Webmaster wrote: »Hi folks,
Thanks for all the feedback so far. We think a major part of the slowness issue this morning was the fact that everyone had to download a whole new set of images for the new Forum look.
This is, unfortunately, an unavoidable load on the servers which we are expecting to happen again tonight (when the after-work crowd gather) and also on Wednesday (Tip day), when site traffic is at it's highest.
We're hoping it should be smooth sailing after that point but we'll be continually monitoring the Forum and tweaking as we go in an effort to optimise performance.
Please keep the feedback and bug reports coming in.

The website was running perfectly fine until about an hour ago, but now it's really slow again as it was this morning.
Some of the compers thanks button keeps dissapearing and coming back apparently.
This is a big problem on the comps board as members don't know which comp they've entered.................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -
Too many unnessassary widgets that are slowing the site down. Comping at this rate really is a no go..0

I'm having problems with the thanks button, I press it and it disappears but my thanks doesn't appear in the list. When I refresh the page the button reappears and still no thanks added.
