Tories slash 10,000 jobs

Some things never change, it's just like the last time we had a Tory government..

HIPS scrapped

The Association of Home Information Pack Providers (AHIPP) estimates that there are between 3,000 and 10,000 people whose livelihoods are either directly or indirectly dependent on Hips.

HIPS were a waste of time wanted by nobody hence they are being ditched. I feel sorry for those who will lose there jobs but these were the typical sort of 'non-job' created under Labour.

The Energy Performance Certificate is staying - so people who do those don't lose their jobs.

so it's not 'Tories slash 10,000 jobs' but between 3,000 and 10,000 people could lose their jobs... your dramatic headline and your post contradict each other and is wrong...

a little thing you've forgotten to mention... EPC's will stay most of these people will be fortunate enough to still have jobs...

Just a tip for the future but if the current Govt slim down benefits and taxes then a whole raft of civil servants will also get the can.

    Damn the Govt :(

They should just keep borrowing more and more to keep it all going until it really collapses. At least it's sunny in Greece.
