    I don't think you need to do that step. Just download combofix and rename differently as suggested

    Save this as "CFScript"

    Then drag the CFScript into ComboFix.exe as you see in the screenshot below.

    This will start ComboFix again. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply

    Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
    If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.

    Download CCLEANER
    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/slim
    Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
    Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)

    do i now need too, fix selected issues on registry, and do i need to analyze the cleaner report?

    That didnt even make sense to me

    Anyways, you need to backup the registry when it asks and no, you dont need to analyze the report

    on one page it said fix selected before i clicked on the registry bit.

    Also it did not ask me to back it up. where should this appear at please

    however it seems to be working just fine at the min not re-directing to wrong page but correct pages.

    I await your further instructions regarding "whether to fix selected and where i find back up

    then SCAN FOR ISSUES
    Then FIX SELECTED ISSUES etc
