Well clearly Dr Webs removed something
Fact is your computers badly infected (At least from your combofix log, whats been removed since ive no clue)
Youve also run Hitman pro and Stopzilla (I wouldnt touch Stopzilla with a bargepole)
At this stage you should be thinking about formatting and reinstalling the operating system:idea:0 -
Has Dr Web been run?
Dissapointed to learn problem couldn't be fixed
Technically not your fault wife to be! Blame the infection!0 -

What kind of mouse are you using, USB, wired?
Is it just the mouse?
Go into your device manager and check mice and other pointing devices and see what it says, maybe your driver is corrupted or has been deleted.0 -
Ive got the mouse running again - dont ask me how!!!
i will post drweb scan later (im at work at mo).
Shall i do another hijack this and post that scan as well.
Also if i format and reinstate operation wont i lose all work saved on computer. how do i keep that as its my sons coursework and music etc.

Would check this idea is good with someone as I don't want you copying the infection over too but:
How about saving all the important stuff (documents, music) on a DVD or an external harddrive?
Don't run Dr. Web unless told to by alienRIK in my opinion! Can you find the log for Dr. Web?0 -
Please can you let me have some more advice regarding what i should do next to get my computer sorted. shall i do scans
thanks0 -
Well me personally, id rather you run a fresh combofix scan so I can see whats happening NOW as opposed to before you ran everything else:idea:0

okay will do that when i get home and post log if thats okay, about tea time

Download a fresh copy of combofix too (Will probably need to rename it for it to work, anything will do 'sehf78er34gf.exe'):idea:0
