downloaded that and tried to open softpedia and the same happened, cant open cos its corrupt and microsoft page opened.

The downloaded file needs to be opened by winrar and EXTRACTED to your desktop then run from there

Download the hosts ZIP file

Find where it is (unless youve changed it, should be in the DOWNLOADS folder)

RIGHT CLICK and it. Select PROPERTIES and set it to OPEN WITH WINRAR

APPLY and SAVE the setting

Then double click on it

If done correctly this will auto open winrar

You then need to EXTRACT TO and select the desktop

then run the program from your desktop

Sounds like you've got a Tojan - a virus hidden within a file downloaded from the internet. Unfortunately, some Trojans bypass even the most sophisticated of anti-virus software, so you need to take it to someone who knows how to remove this stuff.
