The downloaded file needs to be opened by winrar and EXTRACTED to your desktop then run from there:idea:0

im sorry but i am finding it hard to understand what to do. is there any simplier way to explain. thanks0

Download the hosts ZIP file
Find where it is (unless youve changed it, should be in the DOWNLOADS folder)
RIGHT CLICK and it. Select PROPERTIES and set it to OPEN WITH WINRAR
APPLY and SAVE the setting
Then double click on it
If done correctly this will auto open winrar
You then need to EXTRACT TO and select the desktop
then run the program from your desktop:idea:0 -
Im off out soon, if you cant suss it then jump onto running combofix:idea:0

on google search engine say i type in "daily mail" it brings up all the daily mail addresses then when i click on one of them it takes me to a random site. and "congratulations" you have won whatever. Ive noticed on the toolbar at top when it does it, it has a "2" before the "http". dont know if that means anything.
Then is just says "redirecting"
I may just have to take it to shop as i need computer for son's gcse.

Sounds like you've got a Tojan - a virus hidden within a file downloaded from the internet. Unfortunately, some Trojans bypass even the most sophisticated of anti-virus software, so you need to take it to someone who knows how to remove this stuff."I memory of James Bond, 007, British Secret Service Agent, who was killed today by ludicrously stupid corporate bigwigs. You will be much missed, Commander. Rest In Peace." - 'M', Head Of M.I.6., 14-10-20050 -
Fortunately, wife to be has come to the right place! I hope alienRIK will be able to solve this problem!:j0
