You only need 1 AV program, so get rid of AVG.

Try HijackThis. Then post the log on here for us to look at..

Hate to ask, but what browser are you using?, if it is IE, then would suggest switching to Firefox due to it's being more secure.

I can't see anything to concern me.
Try removing the Yahoo searchbar and associated bits.
If that doesn't work, Try installing Firefox and seeing if the same thing happens with that.

Our works computer has just started doing this as well. Really annoying. I have google in favourites, so yes I type into the box, click search, the google search list comes up as usual, but when you click to go to the site of one of the search results it directs you somewhere else instead. (usually another search engine.)
I think the antivirus is a corporate norton one which I have no control over at all. And the one man IT dept doesn't reply!
I'd be interested to see what people think is happening.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

could do an upgrade on malwarebytes version 4121 but don't think that would change much...

Possibly could delete O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - (no file)
but please check with someone with more know how!

Also you are running two antivirus programmes: AVG and avast. Remove AVG with this (32 bit) to ensure no bits are left:

This is a baddie but I would suggest you bump this post for one of the experts like AliienRik, Browntoa or Reluctant Spender to see because they can give you far more worthwhile advice than I can.

You need to wait for aliEnRIK to advise you to run Combofix.

You should not run ComboFix unless you are specifically asked to by a helper. Also, due to the power of this tool it is strongly advised that you do not attempt to act upon any of the information displayed by ComboFix without supervision from someone who has been properly trained. If you do so, it may lead to problems with the normal functionality of your computer.

If for some reason he misses this thread, start another requesting his specific help .

Follow the instructions HERE to fix your problem (ignore the part about posting the logs on that site, post them on here instead).
