Well you say that, but having actually sold the stuff, I'd say it's sometimes worth it. You certainly need to consider all the elements (cost of item, cost of cover, likely lifetime of item, how might you break the item, and so on) but sometimes it's worth it. All the sale of goods act covers (from the perspective of a retailer rather than lawyer here) is breakdown within a reasonable lifetime that isn't a result of standard wear and tear that might lead to that. Now with replacement cover where I worked, if someone came in with a broken £200 lawnmower 2.5 years after they purchased where they had obviously thrown it down the stairs or whatever, we would replace it.

oh i know that, it was just a general rant.:o
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Anyone work for Frontline Focus? I'm fuming with them but would rather PM someone rather than get this site closed down!
Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.
  • Oh the irony. Did a pharmacy ms for back pain. What do I have now? Lol. At least my purchase will come in use.

All quiet for me now until the weekend. June has been a quiet month MS wise for me.

I've also done chippie jobs for Frontline, last time a couple of months ago, no particular issues apart from them being a bit slow in paying.

I did lot's of jobs for them last year & the year before - but they haven't got that client now.

They used to pay more or less monthly in the very beginning - but then it went on to waiting 2-3 months before getting paid.

The staff were great though & well paid, easy jobs.

The company who have that particular client now pay half the fee!

I've not done anything for them recently - but just ask in case it's anything I can help with! :)
    ;)
