Well, er, no, can get leads of ebay, battieries are cheaper next door and your extra cover doesn't mean anything as i'm already covered by the sales of goods act thanks
Totally agree. I rarely impulse buy. I go into a shop with the purpose of looking for an item. It's great when the assistant is friendly, chatty and helpful but it really does not influence my buying at all. If they are too pushy I walk out of the shopThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
Aww, I'm a bit miffed at the GFK test drives, you have to have a car under 5 years old, and mine is 8
I'm after another car anyway so thought it'd be a good way to get paid for something I was already planning to do.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -
I got a query today from RE about a gaming shop, asking if I'd allowed the assistant to establish my requirements. The brief said go in knowing your requirements and ask for a specific item <rolleyes>.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

.... ok, then, if they asked you what you wanted and you told them the specific item, they had established your requirements (and you had surely allowed them to do that by responding to them). That's what I'd tell RE!!:)0 -

You know what, I thought exactly the same. It said go in and ask for a game from one of the following consoles, but the questionnaire made out you went in and asked for a genre and the assistant pointed something out to you.
PS. On the alerts thread, everyone puts all kinds of visits for RE on, but I never see any of them when I log on. What gives? I log on every half hour.0 -

I wouldn't worry..you really aren't missing anything!! Unless you like writing incredibly long reports for peanuts that is! :rotfl:
Seriously though, it may be where you live..try expanding the areas you are searching. Also, make sure you have all the boxes ticked regarding what types of assigments you are interested in.0 -
I did a shop for a RE hotel a while ago and received an email from the manager thanking me for my "not so mystery shop". Has anyone else had this? And do I reply or not? Id feel rude if I didn't but don't even know what I'd say.
And RE still haven't paid me for that particular job, its still showing as pending, although they paid me for a hotel I did two days before that???0 -
