Just wondered what everyone else would do.
I did an assignment at an electrical store a couple of days ago. The store is closing for refurbishment and had very limited stock, everything they had were the display models which were being sold as clearance. I have an assignment for the same store but a different company this week but I know that they don't have the stock I have to check.
Would you ring the MS company and explain or just try to do the assignment and fill out the report as appropriate?0 -
If it were me, I'd try to call the MS company and let them know, but I do tend to go on the side of caution!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

I'd just do it to be honest and add notes to your report. A few of my audits have been a little unusual this last year with the localised floodings and awful shootings, stock (and staff) levels understandibly lower. GfK phoned me when assignments were to be cancelled but otherwise they went ahead as normal.
You're not in Cumbria too are you? My electrical store is being refurbished lolThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

It does seem strange doesn't it. I have one tomorrow in a different town so I will see what is happening there....the one I did was joining forces with a computer store. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Been told by everyone I've spoken to that 24 hours is the "real" deadline...
I always submit the next morning too, and it's never been a problem, as I have always been consistent.0 -

Are you able to reschedule the shop yourself and do it tomorrow?
If you can't do it on the website then give them a ring in the morning, I can almost guarantee that they will let you do it again as long as you can do it fairly soon. The deadlines they set are always a little before the company deadline to allow for problems0
