    Timmy Mallet is this another one of your stunts passing off as customer and the shoving prices up. Yes we believe a company that spams forums passing off as a customer

    I think its a *ock and bull story your giving folks here

    Ray Ban 2132 still showing as £95.40. These were £90.10 yesterday.

    Also I only saw about 150 vouchers as 'already bought' on MyCityDeal about an hour before the deal expired so I am not sure how that equates to 10000 orders.

    My voucher code is saying it's been used already too, I emailed them over an hour ago but no reply as yet. Also the Ray-Bans I wanted are still £6 more than they were yesterday.

    This also sounds a bit ominous;

    We will not let any customers down, but there will be delays on the best selling items. This is out of our control.

    Does anyone think we could end up chasing them for months to actually get our orders?
    I think I might just ask MyCityDeal for a refund and avoid any more hassle!

    the shades i ordered are showing as 'in stock' and delivered next day if ordered before 4pm if this was placed as a normal order without any voucher code added so Im wondering what difference the voucher makes to them shipping out the glasses (especially as they are listed as being in stock)

    I also spoke via the online chat feature to someone yesterday regarding delivery as i need them by next friday before i go on holiday and they said that delivery will be within 7 days and gave no indication of the high volumes of voucher orders at the time

    Get a refund, TKMaxx are overflowing with sunnies at the moment :p I didn't go for this deal but if I had after reading this thread I wouldn't want to deal with this company.

    I think I just want a refund. I did not properly look at the sunglasses yesterday, so I don't know if I would be paying more for a pair after they dishonestly raised their prices due to the increased demand...what would they think would happen!?

    and if Timmy is indeed legit and going by his earlier posts I would not want to deal with a company like that anyway

    Another pi55ed off customer here. I too wanted the Rayban wayfarers which were priced at £88 yesterday and also first thing this morning!! So with the discount and postage would have come to £59.50 which was the reason I signed up for the offer.

    The price today will be £65.45 in total. You can get the same sunglasses on Ebay for £70 so hardly much of a saving!!

    This is completely underhand and if I knew they were going to be so sneaky I would never have bothered with the deal.

    I am going to email them too. Not happy and the excuses are a load of rubbish. Surely if you are selling more then you can order more at a lower wholesale price? :eek:
  • The Southend Air show is next weekend and has to be one of the busiest weekends of the year for the Sun Glasses Shop. I'd suggest if this has not been sorted out in the next few days then if anyone is in the area we should protest outside the shop and contact the local paper to come along too.

    Timmy2000 or whatever his name said earlier to email him with your details and they will honour yesterdays pricing.
