So I put bedding on at 60 and it was fresh then I whammed in the clothes again at 30 and it was gorgeous smelling again! You may walk and you may run

You just keep on walking0 -
If you have a 95 degree wash (or similar), do that with a cup full of washing soda crystals, and in between washes keep your washing machine door open a crack to prevent further mould.0

Wipe the door seal out very thoroughly, because that is where moisture and undissolved powder tends to get trapped and then decays there. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Hi.
Thanks for all the replies. I will try the hot wash with soda crystals I think.
I also seem to have water filling up the fabric conditioner section (even though there is no fab conditioner) in there after every wash??
I don't put any powder or fab conditioner in the drawer, just use the gel tablets and put them in the drum along with the washing.
I am just mopping it up with a damp cloth. Also, in between the drum and the door (the grey seal bit) there is always a little collection of water that gathers after every wash. Again, I use the cloth to mop up that it between washes.
I always wipe the door down with glass cleaner and leave it open between washes as well.
Maybe it is on it's way out:(0 -
I put mine in the drawer where I normally put my liquid detergent in. I frequently add 1/2 a cupful to standard washloads for extra cleaning power, and to save on detergent.0

just use the gel tablets
Use soda crystals , hottest wash possible , result sweet smelling machine.
I just chuck them in the drum0 -
I have tried a really hot wash with some white vinegar in the drum. This seemed to loosen all the built up softner and powder as the water that was in the machine was light blue! But now it smells of bad drains. The washing comes out smelling ok but the machine itself STINKS! Any ideas?0

hiya Lil, my washer has a tendency to get like that, if it does, i put a squirt of bleach in the soap drawer and run it on the hottest wash. generally sorts it out. another tip is not to close the door after you do a wash, leave the door open and let it air out.:D0
