The figures I gave are correct and total £169, and just include the minimum charge for bb/phone etc

You are the UW rep, using this thread to advertise, please explain how you only paid £97

I'm not advertising anything any more than you are bad-mouthing. Tit for tat.

How did I only pay £97? I don't have the first clue. I didn't do anything different to what I have always done.

I take it that you didn't have any luck finding it any cheaper elsewhere then?

I have neither the time nor inclination to trawl over comparison sites to be honest. What I do accept as accurate is the information I gave earlier.

Surely as a UW salesperson you should at least be aware of the comparative costs of the product you sell.

Does your lack of 'time and inclination' extend to research on products you recommend as an Independent Financial Adviser?

The cost of services provided by other companies is not relevant, so no, I don't know what other companies charge. The focus is on the benefits that UW can provide for the customer as opposed to talking down anyone else.

And no, my role as a financial adviser has no bearing whatsoever to my role as UW distributor. They are entirely different. Why do you resort to personal jibes all the time like Q? There is really no need to be insulting.

Trouble with you is that although you are a spokesman and rep for UW you clearly don't know what your own company charges!

So that no-one is fooled by whatever sales trick you are attempting here are the correct figures:

You tell us you got all your services for £97 yet the figures available online show the minimum cost from UW to be in the region of £167.

For your gas and electricity alone UW would charge in the region of £140.

But everyone can see you are just playing with us.

Your company "success" is all based around (text removed by MSE Forum Team) being taken in by their trusted friends and relatives working as uw reps using their (text removed by MSE Forum Team) training to suggest they have just found out about a cheap company for utilities.

Your constant refusal to explain your (text removed by MSE Forum Team) claim of £97 for everything is a good example.

600,000 people currently customers. 96% would recommend to a friend. Top ratings for customer service, value for money and pretty much every measure in Which magazine surveys.

I paid £97 for all that I described. Deny it as much as you like, it doesn't make it any less true.

I think your summary is a little harsh but not by much as I wasn't in to "RaRa up school" either.

Note readers Survey! With 30,000 UW salesmen and their families all with a vested interest.

Value for money when their gas and electricity prices are consistently around 25% higher than the lowest prices available.

Any survey where vested interests can vote, can be manipulated.

We have 600,000 customers. Of course, they all have a vested interest.....

So now your contention has changed to the premise that people will experience poor service and bad value, remain customers and give a good report of the company?

    Really?

  • I am correct in saying that if you recommend your friend you can get your bills cheaper with them? And there rates are very high for gas and electric. also if you leave them and just keep your other bits with them your bill only increases by 2% so the amount they over charge you for your gas and electric outweighs the cons of leaving them.
