Your only allowed to discuss UW in this very long dedicated thread.

Its a very legit Network Marketing Company, a footise 250 company i believe.
You need to speak to someone actively working the business.0 -
That should give the OP enough to go at. I knew there was a big discussion on this..0

Yes, there is a huge, ancient thread on UW but don't expect any unbiased opnions on there and you could well die of old age before you get to the end of it and it's not up to date with the company and the way it operates/products and services anyway.
Speak to somebody active in the business. (There I go again, sounding like a bl00dy parrot!)'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

The magic pill 'scheme' is the name that the individual distributor has given to his website. It's just a business name.
The opportunity is the same for everyone who becomes a partner with Telecom + . The same business pack, registration fee, bonuses, the same training etc. It's just an independent distributors recruiting website. If you were to register through this website, you would be in this person's team but your registration would have to go through head office for compliance with Ofcom and Ofgem regulations.
PLEASE speak to an active distributor!!!!!! There is some misunderstanding here by you. Please... If you don't speak directly to an active distributor for explanations, you will never understand it by asking questions on here.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

Perhaps you can answer me this: would I make the same, less or more money joining this Magic Pill 'business' as I would if I became a distributor for UW directly?
Alternatively, if I became a distributor for you, would I get the same amount of revenue per customer recruited as I would if I went to UW directly and became a distributor? Or is revenue reduced at each level of the hierarchy?
You went through UW not Magic Pill right?

Their "guarantees" are worthless marketing "tools". If your brother in law enthusiastically tells you you are guaranteed to save or get double your money back you don't expect him to mislead you.
Check the "guarantee" ts +cs to see how worthless they are!
Were they really guaranteeing to be the cheapest, don't you think we'd all be fighting to join up?0 -
Of course Quentin chose BT as his phone/broadband provider instead (who are incidentally way more expensive than UW on a like for like basis and tie you in for up to 18 months) and then had a ridiculous tussle (involving the CEO's office, incredibly) to leave penalty free when they put up their prices again. You really have to be careful whose info/opinion/advice you trust on the internet, to be perfectly frank.0

Couldn't agree more!
A favourite tactic of some contributors is to attempt to discredit a poster to divert attention from UW's prices and selling tactics. e.g. Quentin may, or may not, have made a poor choice of Telephone provider - so apparently that disqualifies him from giving any advice/opinion on UW.
If you want to compare the prices of UW's gas and electricity against other companies, go to any comparison website and enter your details and it will show the costs.
In the same way, as Quentin suggests, simply read the small print of UW's 'Guarantees' to decide if they are a worthwhile Guarantee.
You will note that some of the many thousand UW salesmen frequent this thread - some properly declare their interest; others don't.
Ask any of the UW salesman contributors on MSE to defend the UW 'guarantees' and it is rare they will try. If they do Quentin will rip their argument to shreds.0 -

If you join directly with UW then they will not have to pay the person who signs you up any commission on the customers you gather.
I know people who are making a really excellent living from the company but I just could not be bothered to put in the consistent effort required to build up my business. It is definitely not a get rich quick scheme, but, if you put in an hour a day or so, every day, over the course of say two years you can create an income to live on.
It is certainly not for everybody. What I will say, is that I got small commission payments for some two years and more after I stopped putting any effort in at all. Once the outgoings were more than the incomings I packed it up, but, no doubt the bloke who signed me up will still be getting a small commission on any of my customers who are still taking any services from UW.The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.
