Can't see anything special about their broadband offer - below standard, if anything. ADSL2 is not unlimited in 2013. Prices (those that I can find) similar to everywhere else.
Cardew is with BT.
PS UW offer no min term contract as standard. Better deal on those terms anywhere else?0 -

PS still overpaying for your telephone/broadband. I guess?
Still no cash back card?
What a money saver you are, eh?
Distraction tactics again I see!
It appears you are hoping the UW gas and electricity prices might get competitive in the future.
Not the Hymn sheet you have been singing from for the past few years!;)
P.S.
I have a great inclusive BT Broadband/phone package
BT Infinity 2
Up to 76Mb download speed - I normally get about 50Mb/15Mb(sometimes as low as 35Mb/13Mb)
Up to 19Mb upload speed
Unlimited downloads
Email anti-virus and parental controls (full McAfee package)
Unlimited WiFi minutes at 11.5 million hotspots
New Hub 5 free
BT Cloud
11 email addresses
BT Family Protection
BT SmartTalk - Mobile calls to landlines billed to my landline account at landline rates
BT Sport Channels on TV and on laptop/PC/IPad
Free 0800 technical help line
Unlimited calls 24/7 to landlines/0845/0870 numbers
The money I save each month by not having UW gas and electricity more than pays for that package.
Santander 123 credit card is not bad either.0 -

Talking of diversion. Blimey. You don't seem to have mentioned the price (I'm suspecting you've checked out the UW price for up to 76MB fibre).:D And over 30 mins to concoct that??
PS As you know I have phone, broadband and mobile from UW. And (in a quiet month on the cash back front) paid £23 this month for those 3 services (that includes paper billing, unlimited downloads, line rental, all land line calls, 600 mins mobile calls, unlimited text and 500mb data and NO MIN TERM COMMITMENT). You?:p
PS Does the Santander CREDIT CARD give ebay cash back?
PPS have you seen what your fellow UW hater Quentin thinks of both your (actually his now former) telecoms supplier?

I have just been checking Energyhelpline(who have the latest UW Double Gold tariff listed) and my savings on gas and electricity, by not having them with UW, not only pay for that BT package above, they also pay for my line rental, and leave me with £119pa to spend on wine women and song.
I would remind you that you, as usual, tried to divert the subject to my personal money saving.
So let us concentrate on UW's gas/electricity prices and in particular their latest 'Double Gold' tariff that Guarantees it is at least 5% cheaper than the Big 6. That is until you read the small print and find it is hugely more expensive than other tariffs.0 -

LOL. What is diversionary about asking how much you pay for your phone/broadband package? On a money saving website when you have shown the details of your package but left out the price paid that can only raise suspicions as to your motives, surely? I ask again (politely).
How much do you pay for your BT phone/BB package?
It's not like it's a difficult question especially given I suspect your bills will be online only? Look it up if it's slipped your mind...
PS It's a pretty weak argument given that you know I don't have UWs energy. Don't you think? I'm a true money saver. Are you though? I think we need to check.
PPS It's clear you've backed yourself into Cardew's Corner again, haven't you? Be honest now, less of the cloak and mirrors nonsense.0 -
I read that npower are flogging a load of their customer accounts to telecom plus for £218M. Shirley this does not bode well for the 30 k odd distributors. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

The thing I love about you MB - and all the other names under which you have posted - is that you rise to the bait far better than any trout I have ever caught.
This was what you posted:PS still overpaying for your telephone/broadband. I guess?

I am quite happy to post exactly what I(personally) pay for that package above - and of course many others pay the same.
It is £21 a month for the package as shown above - on a 18 month agreement, and it is not an 'introductory offer'. £11.75 a month for line rental.
On a tariff fixed for the next 16 months,I pay £512pa(equal to £42.67 a month) less than I would if I were stupid enough to take UW's 'Double Gold' gas and electricity tariff - that is the one that requires you to take other UW services and 'guarantees' to be at least 5% cheaper than the Big 6 tariffs(until you read the small print.)
P.S.
Remember I didn't raise the Telephone/Broadband charges - you did!
So as you are talking about painting yourself into corners; do you accept that the above is accurate or not? Put up or shut up.
Don't divert into how do I get a £21 package? and why don't I let everyone know - cos they aint eligible - (don't forget you cast doubts on my money saving ability)
You never know when to give up!0 -

I love it - your normal response when you have made yourself look rather silly.
Are my facts accurate or am I lying? Put up or Shut up!0 -

I have no idea - what are the FACTS which aren't wrapped up in Cardew speak? And please confirm what the price is for a new customer who hasn't had to endure many months of BT pricing/awful CS. And please don't try and tell what I can and can't ask you, you're not at home now...
PS Should I have been on UW's fibre offering (incidentally, what a step up from your previous '10GB/mth but that's fine for us' package) my bill would have been £36 for phone/unlimited fibre/600 mins mobile, unlimited texts/500mb data so please don't try and tell me about money saving because every impartial reader simple knows you are the 'do as i say not as i do' type..You always react like this when some good UW news arises (same with the 0800 CS number and cancelling of membership fees a few day ago) #obsessed0
