If you want to pay considerably less for your gas and electricity, then have a look at any comparison site and see how much you'd save by switching! EDF may not be the cheapest, but they will certainly be far cheaper than uw, and the exercise will show you how much you are being taken for by uw over their high energy prices.
Forgive me if this has already been stated here in the forums. If you are unaware that Utility Warehouse gives customers a chance to go for "Gold Status" option, which enables them to have huge savings across Telecoms & Energy.
If you just want to know about Gas and Electric, 10% extra discount on your Gas & Electricity after your first year.
Also, "Double The Difference Price Promise" When you are Gold Status, They guarantee you'll save money when you switch to them, or they'll give you back Double the difference"
they really aren't as bad as people make them out to be
Sam, a UW ID. (think what you like, this is not a biased opinion, my father is a very hard person to satisfy when it comes to Utilities. Being more than aggravated with NPower, he actually doesn't even stress over inaccuracy of bills anymore)

Great Strapline :rotfl:That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I prefer
Utility Warehouse - nowhere near as bad as posters who have never been customers make them out to be.
or
Utility Warehouse - doing Gas and Electricity the correct way since 2005 (according to the recent Ofgem proposoals).0 -
I'm trying to establish if Utility warehouse genuinely and sincerely charge £15 pm for their telephone line rental-I've asked them by email, but no answer.
It is the most expensive if they are serious0 -
No it's not the most expensive. BT line rental is now £15.45, TT £15.40, the other major providers about the same, unless you take Line Rental Saver or the equivalent. UW has it''s own dedicated thread BTW-it can't be discussed elsewhere. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
-
macman you know as well as I do BT do not Charge £15, you need to pay better attention to the forum0
-
No, they charge £15.45/mth to be precise. Which includes just inclusive weekend calls and a 12 month min term. £2/mth extra to add in inclusive evening calls. Their prices increased in January to current levels so expect another increase in the next 6 months also..0

****MillicentBystander*** as per the headline how long have you been a customer of utility ware house?0
-
I have been a customer of Utility Warehouse for quite some time now. I take phone, broadband and mobile SIM only plus cashback card but may add gas to get the Gold benefits but there again I may not.. But as Macman states, UW has its own dedicated thread so should be discussed there (please note my previous post here was discussing BT only  ). No further posts from me in this thread.0
