WANTED: A friendly dog/puppy (beckton)
A friendly dog/puppy,male or female.Would be better if the dog is
already neutered. That will get along with cats and dogs.Has to be
a legal breed!I do not want a dog with health problems or older
than 7 years!
I find that really really sad0 -

i hope someone pointed them to the local dog rescue centre so they can be properly assessed.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Everything I have offered has been taken the same day and to be quite honest I don't care what they do with it as long as its out of my way.0

it makes me a little sad that smartphone users are ignored as they are considered 'rich'. Everyone I know has a smartphone but even if they did not, it's not the spirit of freecycle/freegle or money saving expert.
I thought freecycle was to keep things out of the landfill? By all means give it to someone who you feel deserves it but as we know it is very hard to tell! I am polite in my replies, give an idea of when I can collect if that would suit and say please and thank you but I never get anything.
It makes me wonder if people sit on the group all day waiting and watching.
Maybe I should stop going to charity chops and car boots as well because I can afford a Blackberry.House saving Targets:

I know what you mean I have offered loads of stuff but never get anything offered back to me after requesting. Makes you think why ! I have not been offered anything in ages it seems if most of ours goes to the people sat on here all day and are the 1st to request.

Sometimes people make up sob stories of not being able to afford this, that or the other necessity and so desperately need to be given one.
If a story like that comes from someone with a smartphone then I think it's pretty clearly a story.
But if they're honest about why they want something then I wouldn't refuse on the basis of what phone they had.0 -

From my understanding, the spirit of MSE is indeed to "grabbit"... Look at the way the Freegle/Freecycle article is written, about how to "bag freebies on giveaway sites".
I recently offered a brand new single mattress that I never got round to using, still in the plastic cover.
I was swamped with replies, the majority of which where outlandish sob stories or just plain rude, habitual snatchers.
I eventually gave it to a woman who I noticed had made lots of offers recently, which to me is more the spirit that should be seen on Freegle.
You reap what you sow and all that.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
