    Seen on our local freecycle

Hi. I need an electric breast pump.

Now as a mere male I don't think I have ever seen an electric breast,
or is this for someone who has had a boob job and needs to pump them up.:D

Actually you can buy an electric breast pump- using that search criteria, very easily. It's to do with feeding babies- which is a lot more natural than inflating breasts to appeal to blokes. :D

Don't you just love it when you gift something on freecycle and tell them collection only, then you get an email saying "I don't live close I'll collect when I can get a lift" I was wondering if they were fishing for me to deliver. Then a text saying where exactly in ?? do you live is it near??. Erm no, you have access to the internet search my postcode to find me :mad:

The items were limited time free tickets to a vistor attraction. Happened to be passing by on an errand so and dropped them off. I was then asked where the place that the tickets were for was. Only about 150 miles away!
Fair enough that they were the first and only perosn to ask for them, but they obviously ask for everything that is posted.
Wish I'd stuck them on ebay now. They didn't even say thank you

I'm always surprised at the amount of people who expect things to be dleivered. I have often discussed times and days for collection with someone only for them to finish up saying 'oh, but you'll need to deliver as I can't get out as I have the baby' or whatever.

someone on mine was asking for a baby car seat - offered them our old one that we got off freegle originally.
they replied with "fab whats your address"

I explained i would provide my address when we had agreed a day/ time for collection.......... at which point they vanished and i didn't hear back from them. this isn't the first time it has happened with people - do they seriously think i'm just going to hand my details over so they can come and go when they want?
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Today on our Freecycle group: "Hi there, I have a fair bit of hardcore available if anyone wants it."

I hope they mean concrete, not !!!!!!!

I agree. I'd always just give the first half of the postcode and/or say where we are near. That's plenty for them to work out when they can get here.
Then if they don't come back and arrange a time then you can give it to someone else knowing the original people won't turn up.

I'm also careful never to tell people when no-one will be in. Not the sort of info you want a stranger with your address knowing!
