LMAO :rotfl:That's the funniest thing I've read on here! How small minded are these people that they feel they have to colour co-ordinate their pets with their furniture... and get it for free!!! :T

One of my best friends is South African. Her Father is an engineer and worked the world over so before she arrived in the UK in her 20's she had lived in Australia, Switzerland, Holland, New Zealand and South Africa.

I went for dinner one evening and in their dining room was a bowl filled with hundreds of corks the family had collected over the years from their travels. Different languages, wines, champagnes. It was fascinating!

ohhh i've had enough!!!! Offered loads of bits, replied to people today giving them 2 different time bands over the weekend i'd be available and asking to collect in one of those... perhaps I was being too optimistic thinking they'd be polite enough to let me know a specific time during those periods..... NO.... I have got the following replies:
Hi either time suites me, could you send your address please
I can collect the xxx and xxxx on Sat. Thank you.

am i being too rude to ask them for an actual time.... I mean I am not sitting in for 6 hours waiting for someone who may turn up in the last 10 mins of a slot.

Am at the point of thinking I'm not even gonna bother replyign then offer them all on another forum as a job lot for a car booter - get rid of em in one go.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

I think sometimes people think by being flexible they are doing you a favour. I'd message back saying that's great I will be in between x & y & give them a 30 minute slot to suit you, ask them to confirm that they will be coming as you have other people also wanting the items.
I get fed up with people saying I can collect to suit you, so I give them a time & they generally can't make it then.

We've had four for greehouses in the last two days. Fair enough if people are polite, my in laws got rid of theirs just last year so they are about... but if your idea of an advert is 'Wanted a greenhouse, want glass but will consider plastic' my only comment is, how very magnanimous of you, considering an 'inferior' plastic greenhouse costs £200+...
We just bought a second hand greenhouse for £30 very small with plastic some of it broken but we were very happy with it and hope our plants will be too-then it was blown down-so we repaired it!
obviously we did it all wrong!

wanted gas cooker -weight lifting gear gym

if any one can help i be very gratefull

Wrong on so many levels, I don't know where to start .......... but what confuses me most is where the gas cooker fits into a weight lifting regime?? :rotfl::rotfl:

    Plus this one:-

    Hi,

Need to get fit again, anyone got a men's bike they are not using?

    Martin

No please, thank you, kiss my a**e, let alone any acknowledgement that they are expecting someone to just handover a piece of equipment worth £££s.
