Thanks for the pointer to this. I was actually looking yesterday for some kind of energy monitor, so this is very timely

After requesting a pack, I got this message:

Due to exceptional customer demand, we’ve placed an order for thousands more Energy Fit Starter Packs. This may mean that you’ll experience a delay of up to 90 days in receiving your pack.

So, could be a long wait!

Hi guys,

Energy Fit has been much more successful than we expected and whilst this is great news, it does mean we have had to order more packs. As a result our delivery times have increased and it may now take up to 90 days.

The original batch of packs we held were aiming to be with the customers that requested them within 28 days.

I’m sorry this has been put back, but hopefully you will all benefit from the packs when you receive them.

Hi,

The campaign got underway on the 15 May 2010, so if you ordered very soon after this date I’d expect you to receive the pack in the 28 day time frame.

I’m not aware of the date the first batch ran out, it was more sudden than expected, but as soon as the first batch were gone, orders for more were issued and these are the ones that will take a lot longer to be distributed.

Thanks e.on for the information. I wonder if you could clear up a bit of confusion on my part?

Your FAQ says that the pack will include the latest ‘ENVI R’ energy monitor. After reading about these devices here (http://www.currentcost.com/product-envir.html) I placed my order. However, looking at other information on the e.on website I notice that the images are of the older ENVI monitors. Can you confirm that the pack does in fact include the newer ENVI R monitors and can you also confirm whether or not they are compatible with the Google PowerMeter service?

Hi Bascule,

This may sound a little confusing but I believe it's the image on the website from the link you provided that is either incorrect or out of date.

If you visit the website you linked to, and select on their 'product' option, at the bottom of that page is the ENVI R, the image on the home page that I believe you are referring to is of the ENVI 'original' if you like yet it says ENVI R next to it.

Therefore I'm pretty confident that the image on our website is of the newer ENVI R model.

With regard to the Google PowerMeter service, the original ENVI monitors were compatible, so I think the ENVI R will be too, when you receive the monitor, details of a support line will be contained in the pack and they will able to answer any questions you may have.
