Does having one of these plugged in all the time not mean an extra item of electrical equipment is being used?
I'm asking because I am a very low user of elec. No tv. Everything switched off.
I actually think having one would raise my energy consumption!
Can anyone confirm or deny this with facts n figures?
If there was a solar powered one - I'd have it in an instant!
Cheers!

Footboy, if it's anything like the other energy monitors, then it will probably run off batteries. I suppose if you get some rechargeable batteries and a solar re-charger then you'd be fine :P0

I think it is completely unfair for e.on customers that have been with the company for donkey years, paying religiously every single bill (by cheque). Does anyone know of a good energy monitor worth buying?0

As promised, I have clarification on the Energy Fit eligibility questions.
Our Energy Fit Starter Pack is available to customers who pay us by pre-payment meter or Direct Debit, and to those who manage their energy account online. Therefore we allow both new and existing customers paying by these methods to sign up to receive an Energy Fit Starter Pack at eonenergyfit.com.
However, we recognise that some customers aren’t able to pay by either of these methods for various reasons and so we need these customers to contact us. Then we can talk to them about Energy Fit and assess each customer on a case by case basis and if they can’t pay by one of these methods we will happily complete the registration for them over the phone.

Anyway, if the poster is too tight-fisted to invest in a couple of batteries for something that is free, designed to save money (and help the environment) and of substantial value, then he/she probably shouldn't order one.
Now where is that facebook 'Like' buttom
Oops, found it lol.0
