Morning Everyone
Happy Birthday Kel and Lottebear hope you had a good day yesterday much celebration:D
Well dh got another car this week it is a lot bigger than a corsa:cool:, but he has never liked small cars, have had to scrape money together as insurance has still not paid out, cheque due out next day or so, the remainder left over from the pay out will be to buy me another car, but that won't be yet. Have spent a fortune on incidentals, such as photographs, taxis, just general stuff.
Have been doing more, so on to the weekend
Yesterday
I got all washing done, dried and folded up,getting a bit better at getting stuff done with my left hand.
Checked online banking, will definitely have to do the bank joggle for the holiday on 24th as payday isn't until the 27th, but I think I can just do it.:D
Booked taxi for airport, were going to drive, but I can't face the hassle, and I can't carry the luggage, I have been demoted to the little "wheely case" as I need to be careful with the old back until the bone heals.:( but the mse point to this is I rang about a taxi and the cost ranged from £160 return to £220 return, remember do your homework!!;)
Today
I will go and talk to my little tomato plants and apologies for their neglect (they do look quite healthy)
I will load dishwasher,(It remarkably started working again about 5 days after it packed up; go figure??????
Clean bathrooms using all odds and ends cleaning products
I am going to cook chicken from the freezer, first proper dinner I have done since the accident, just a small question of potatoes, peeling is one skill I have not managed to perfect, I will see what I can do.
Fill out witness statement for accident and get those in the post.
Get dh to help ds to complete his statement as well.
Friend coming to pick up her ds as he has stayed the weekend, so more tea and chat this afternoon
I may return and update as I have other things in mind that still need doing.
Well I am off for a shower, with my new plastic cover for my plaster
, shortly followed by a fight with the hairdryer and hairstraightners:rotfl: My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
