Hi Bagpuss, did you see the Diet coke Nails Inc deal? Buy 2 diet cokes and get a free nail polish in Boots. One of the pinks looks like Shoreditch and the Mauve colour is just a bit lighter than St Jermyn. There's also a purple and a redish one. :T

Afternoon all - just a quickie as we have a houseful of visitors.
    • Been out shopping and bought a lovely frock fro MIL's 60th B'day dinner for just £20 in the sale. Had lunch out with mum and sis at Slug and Lettuce and used a 25% off voucher saving us £7ish.
    • Booked cinema tickets for 5.15pm (Robin Hood) and will set off as soon as errant OH reappears (He's on a training bike ride somewhere). Used SU card and Mum's "senior" status to save a few quid. We all bought a bag of sweets in the pound shop to save paying a fortune at the cinema.
    • Used a No 7 voucher to buy some needed body scrub saving £5.
Not much else for today - busy with visitors.
Will do a proper repotr tomorrow!

    Hi All,

    Today I have/will:

    * scanned in my shopping for my points
    * packed up gifts for friends and family (just little things, no big occasions) and used the local post office to send most of them second class.
    * packed carefully to keep a couple of items "large letter" size.
    * picked up two charity shop books for the pressie box.
    * looked for new sleeping bag for OH - think it will be Mr S' bag I looked at last night. Would like to use a Mr T coupon I have but Mr T's website has 2 season not 3 season bags and we camp spring to autumn so need 3 season ones :( I am reminding myself that to save too much money is a false economy if OH ends up too cold.
    * received two free Twinnings tea bags and a 20p coupon from following a link on the freebies board. We drink their fruit tea and it has gone up to £1.09 for 20 bags :( so the coupon is great news. I can't get it in Costco or find anywhere cheaper than the high street for it.
    * collected library book I ordered in (and read it)
    * will order next book in series.
    * I handed in my uni assignment yesterday - final one for my professional qual if I pass (and a ~£2k spend if I fail). I am trying therefore to plan out what I need to do in my neglected house as I'm behind on laundry, cleaning, you name it. I need to make lists of baby steps or I will get overwhelmed with what there is to do. It will take some time to get up to a decent standard again as my work is very busy so the days are long and I've several nights away this week.

I'm disappointed to see some people have free starbucks and I don't. I *love* their coffee. I have a starbucks gift card I got give and have registered, but I've not received any offers. Wonder if I've missed something?

Hi everyone - sorry I just haven't been able to get on here lately, must try harder. We are in chaos as work has finally started on my hallway/ stairs / landing after I had water damage, so all the carp from there is piled up all over the house.
Happy birthday Lottebear!:bdaycake: A birthday on a saturday - woohoo! Hope you have a fab party x

DNM - My jaw literally dropped when I read that your daughter is not expecting. May I ask, was she lying or mistaken? I really hope this will be a turning point for you all x

In answer to the question I am 35, 1 DD (B) age 13, 1 DS (T) age 4, married for 9 years. I would secretly love another baby but realistically I am too knackered / skint / lazy, so instead I am very grateful for the two I do have!

Anyway today has been a good DFW day for me. I:
    1) Bought the rest of my wallpaper for the hall having waitede for Homebase 15% off day. Got it for less than £50. :j
    2) Also bought a blind that matched perfectly for £3.65 in the clearance section.
    3) Went to a scout fete for cheap entertainment.
    4) Checked banking, quidco, did SC etc
    5) Looking forward to Doctor Who in a bit.
    6) Check my ebay listings - a few watchers and a couple of bidders.

Finally - for all you fans of LOST, this is the funniest thing I've seen in ages, (watch it all the way through). But only watch it if you have already seen last night's episode as it might give something away!

    1. Went to town, needed some new summer clothes. Went to Peacocks though, so wasn't dear, and had a £5 Capital Bonds voucher from a survey site to take off the price :D

    2. Paid in some money-bagged coins into bank

    3. Transferred some redeemed daily click money to saving account

    4. Scratchy/clicks (been banned from Virgin for only playing free scratch) lol

    5. Just done another survey for Haagen Daas. The nice people want to send me a sample, how kind :D:D

    6. Joined Foxy Bingo for their free £5 no spend offer and played it on bingo and won £35 ! :)
