Good luck and morning to everyone.
I just have to say Luc is fantastic :T
I am wfh today and up early to finish my dissertation too so I can run and hand it in today. My extension was until Tues so I would be handing in early but I may need to work over the weekend (in my paid job but not for additional pay IYSWIM) so best I'm done early.

Good luck and morning to everyone.

10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

Elfen - have fun in Ikea.
Ames - how are you getting on with the Second Hand Bookshop idea?
Kayleigh - how did the house viewing go?
Gonzo - have you spoken to your OH yet?
Been to the Dr's this morning and the infection's gone. :j The ear drum if fine. :j:j:j And it;s just as I thought I've got blocked tube that controls the pressue, so got to get some nasal decognestant spray/drops.

hey Elf, i cant believe how quickly things are moving for you at the moment and the fact pint is being so understanding and helpful is increadable, anyways thought about you this morning when driving into work behind a BMW with the number plate Xxxx ELF!!!
LMC - no i didnt talk to her last night, was a bit of a weird evening if i am honest (didnt help that it was my mums birthday) also she had one of her best friends crying on the phone to her last night because her hubby is being swapped from weekly pay to monthly pay and they have no savings at the moment due to one thing and another, so she doesnt know how she is going to get by. i told her to point her in this direction so we might get her coming on here for adviceeasier coming from someone anonomous than from me face to face
also great news on your bloody pressure and earDrop a brand challenge

Morning all...a lazy day for me today, spot of ironing maybe, can't hoover as have lent it to a friend who hasn't returned it yet. I am stangely peed off by a mate who emailed me to say her DD has been selected by the school for yet another G and T day .... mine never get chosen for anything like that and she knows it annoys me, so why tell me? Or am I being oversensitive?I'm sure you guys will put me straight..my DS is getting consistent level 7's (he's year 9) but he never gets chosen,I think he sits at the back keeping quiet while her DD sits at the front being a swot....bitter?Me?Debt-free...and staying that way...0

hey SRM, have you considered the possibility that the teacher asks for volenteers and your DS doesnt want to do it?
i know when i was younger i never wanted to actually do more than i had to when it came to school things although i always did really well in my results i just didnt want to join in with the extra 'schooly' things and wanted to do my own things after school
also girls do tend to get picked for things much more often than boys, (very much down to the fact schools like to nurture the more female traits such as compassion, helping, empathy, and activily discourage the natural male traits of competition, aggression/leadership so in a lot of way disadvantages boys)Drop a brand challenge

Well I do think that is valid Gonzo, but in this case it's a school G and T thing, and although like I said he gets level 7's he as never been invited on any g and t thing, yet her kid has done 4 or 5....it annoys me more than it should..don't know why!Debt-free...and staying that way...0

Morning all - hooray for the approaching weekend!
SRM what's G and T? (I'm assuming not gin and tonic)

isnt that the case in most places, i am sure your DS isnt that bothered and if thats the case you shouldnt be either, what would you rather have
DS going to them and not enjoying himself
or
DS not getting invited but being happy doing other things?
these G&T things really make very little difference on a CV etc and can be far surpassed by other extra corricular (sorry cant spell for toffee) activities such as the scouts/guides, Air/army/navy cadets, - extras such as these show a person is more than just academically gifted and can adapt to other situations when nessesary,
being gifted can easily be showen by good grades in their qualifacations, being able to adapt ones self to less 'normal' situations shows a far great potential in someone than being part of a schools G&T clubDrop a brand challenge
