Not going to be on here long - can't focus very weel.
Well don Kat - absolutely brillo.
Bunny - Sometimes I think it would have been nice to have kids but my eldest brother was 10lb 8, his daughter was 10lb 13. I was the smallest of the 3 siblings and I was 8lb 5!
Thanks for all your good wishes yesterday. I was considerably happier and calmer this morning. Surgery was (what's that word they always use) 'uncomfortable!' and pain relief didn't arrive for 15 minutes AND wasn't morphine. Damn!
However took the nurses advice and went to bed for 2 hours so now feeling a bit battered and bruised but not bad. Taxi driver (bless him) escorted me to the front door.

My baby is 32 years old, so I feel/am ancient! However my broodiness is comforted by her letting me have dgs age 7, 2 nights a week and any other time he and I want. Lovely0

:j:j:jI'm back from handing my report in. :j:j:j
I feel like making an Oscar winners speech "I'd like to thank everyone on DFW for helping me through this. In particular I'd like to thank Luc for her absolute heroism in proof reading 10k words in ~24hrs. Her changes got me inside the wordcount limit and were really helpful. I also owe thanks to BB for teaching me what a conclusion is, scaredy, lmc, bunny, buffy, elfen, beanielou, ames... everyone who chipped in with advice or cheered me on. I'm really worried I might have forgotten someone
Basically everyone on here has been amazing in helping me do this and I would not have done it without you all.
I've never done a dissertation before so it has been a new experience, and as I've been under lots of pressure at work so long hours and lots of travelling there've been quite a few nights in hotel rooms typing whilst eating and trying to sqeeze more studying in before I fall asleep.
I've been in tears over this and felt like I was failing but my tutor and you guys pulled me through.
Thanks so much

I can't imagine having a 12 year old and you're the same age as me:rotfl:
It gets worse.......my eldest turns 15 in November  ..
Mind you, I wouldn't change them for the world, I'm glad I had them early.
Scardey - As for the baby bonnet on the cat....you've seriously given this too much thought!!!!!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Afternoon all.
Well done Katsu, I am sure you are relieved to have handed in the dissertation.
Yay! its Friday.
I am getting one of those Asda curry for 2 deals and a bottle of vino tonite. Soon be wine o'clock?
I got out of work early so am a little ahead with the housework. Although I just put out a line of washing and the skies opened nearly as soon as I got back in the house.0
