Just spoken to Head Office. They're putting my copy in the post tomorrow.
Apparently the offer was only supposed to be in store and I copy per person.

I have just got an email apololgy from Richer Sounds after I gave them the old distance selling blurb etc and they are sending me a copy free of charge as well. Result!

I didn't get the "out of stock" email (or the DVD) so I emailed the webaftersales@richersounds address just to ask when my delivery would be

They confirmed that their stock level had not properly updated resulting in orders being taken when the stock had been exhausted.

I will get the money refunded and a free Monsters Inc DVD !

Thanks to the OP but also thanks to Richersounds who have lived up to their well deserved reputation for customer service.

I rang up after receiving my out of stock email. I was then promised a free dvd as a sorry. I have to admit I was very doubhtful this would turn up. But this morning my postman delivered me a free Dvd. I am now going to congratulate them with a well deserved Email, this must be one of the best displays of customer service I have seen. Well done. And thankyou to the OP.

You cannot beat Richers for service. They are rightly proud of it. WH Smiths, Sainsburys Entertainment etc. take note - you are deep in Richer Sounds shadow.

they are rubbish actually....took money from my account and received email several days later saying they couldnt honour the order.......even though they had some in their shops!

sent an email to them over a week ago and no response!

sent another today.....theyre worse than the companies you mention because unlike the others they have not delivered despite taking the money
