Cheers for that Gonzo, I'll give the olive oil a go.
I think the problem is caused by me having a eusachian (station) tube that gets blocked, it was suggested that I get grommets (not sure what Wallace would say!):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So I went back to the Dr's after some nasal drops didn't work and got told that they weren't an option! [insert confused smile!]
I need to get back on the healthy eating band waggon. Last night I did an hour on the wii - half an hour of that was free step, but I need to do more. I might have a go at this running lark!0 -

The amount of time I am expected to be in college 3.5/4 days a week, would be virtually impossible to work. Would have to put b in out of hours care at school at a cost of £40 a week . The amount of hours study I will have to do out of college, the fact I will have no time with B and with R. I would still then have to go on to do another 4 years at uni which at present have no way of paying for so pretty fruitless.
Ive looked and the OU do a foundation degree in Primary teaching and learning which you need to have a placement in school (which I do but would need to check i can def do the course from school) and then I could probably get on a Graduate teaching programme which is a 1 year course to qualify.
And I do also have to factor in the fact that we might move, my money committments and R & children
See sooooo much to consider!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Sally, some colleges have a subsidised creche or you can get extra grants for childcare.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

Sounds good Kayleigh, I like the idea of practise study.
Bunny well done on the sale.
Gonzo, good luck with the job.
Pooky hope you feel better soon.
Elfen, well done on getting into the jeans, I really need to make more effort with the weight loss.
LMC, sorry about your ear, I hope you get it sorted soon, sound horrible.
Sally, I hope you decide what to do, sounds like there's loads of things to consider. Things are sounding a lot more positive for you though now.
Well, I'm meeting my support worker at 2, and I'm going to the theatre tonight. In between I really need to get some drum practise and tidying up done, so far I seem to be feeling better than I was yesterday.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

That does sound like a lot of time in college, the OU thing might be a better option. Have the school not given you any ideas of the best way to do it?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Well done Bunny on the sale.
I'm on a professional job seeker course, seems pretty good, lots and lots of tips. This afternoon we look at my CV - problem is, how can we improve on perfection? :rotfl:
Kayleigh, the thing is if you don't fail at anything you don't achieve anything. I don't like to finish things because I have a big issue with being judged! Little chunks of study sound good though.

Trying to do a bit of healthy eating myself, because although I don't need to lose weight, I want to feel better. Plus my OH is overweight, and wants to lose weight, but doesn't have a lot of will power. He has asked me not to buy any cake etc, so yesterday we bought lots of fruit, salad, and nuts. If I buy cake, he will eat it, just because it is there. I managed to persuade him to go on a cycle ride last night. He doesn't exercise at all usually. Fingers crossed he doesn't pig out on rubbish at work
I know he wants to lose the weight, but because he needs to lose a fair few stone, I think it's quite daunting for him. 0 -
Sounds like a lot of things to weigh up there Sal - how about doing the TA thing until your life settles down a bit - would still be fantastic experience.
Ames - Good luck with your support worker...what are you going to see at the theatre?
Had a sad call from a good friend earlier whos Mum's just about to pass away, my other good friends Dad was told last week his cancer is terminal.....what with all we've got going on here too, I sometimes wonder why I wanted to be a grown up....childhood was so much nicer."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. I think what the counsellor meant (or what I took it to mean) was that when you practice, you don't fail, you just make errors sometimes. And as you keep practising, those errors get less and less. That's just my opinion though.
