Well, since everyone else is still asleep...
After a lot of soul-searching, I'm back on the ADs again. I also had an appointment with the uni counsellor yesterday who suggested I put aside an hour a day to work on my essays and think of it as practising, not trying, as trying implies the possibility of failure. (Yes, Yoda popped up in my head as well. :rotfl: ) I didn't manage to 'practice' yesterday so I've set aside an hour between 3 and 4 this afternoon to do it. I've even put it in my diary (paper, not the largely abandoned one on here) so I won't forget.
I've got a house viewing at 10:15 and I'm planning to walk there so I'd better get moving. Plus, if I don't stop typing soon, someone else might set up a DC. :rotfl:
So what's everyone else's plans for today?

Morning
Sounds a good idea Littlemiss. My daughter found that if she studied for a period of time, then had a break for the same amount of time she got on a lot better than slogging away. After all if you are tired you won't be taking anything in anyway.
Going into work today, I love working from home but sometimes it is nice to go in and get stuff done that I can't do at home.

Ghost - Good luck with the viewing.
Tenmah - I don't think I could be disciplined enough to work from home...have a nice day in the office.
Youngest cat has a tic on his ear so spent half the morning trying to smear vaseline on it in the hope it will fall off...he hates being picked up so I'm now covered in scratches.
Still having a dose of the dizzy-doo-dahs, not as bad as yesterday though so hope it's on it's way out.

morning all, hope the house is great for you ghost and the ad's give you the boost you need, big hugs
well i am at work again today things have already started going wrong but hey thats what i get for working in the NHS,
although i have spotted a new potential job which i am going to apply for, 5k a year more pay and the office is within walking distance of my house instead of 30 miles away so if i can get it will end up a good £300 a month better off ok so we will have a drop in benifits but i should still end up being much better of if i can get it and not only financially since i have said if i get it the first months 'extra' money will be spent on buying a new push bike so i can cycle to work some days....and maybe just maybe i will be able to shed this final pound and get below 14 stone for the first time in about 5 yearsDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

srm, sounds like a challenge. I need to start ironing but at the moment the pile is one pair of jeans which I'll do soon when there's more.
Also, I fit into my River Island size 14 skinnies (dances around the house) And they're not tight on the leg (only a little on the waist)** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
