Nothing. Some official accidentally left my name off the list of people to be issued with business visas for the conference we were attending, and a dreadful bureaucratic bungle followed. Apparently the correct visa was issued, and the order to let me into the country was given, while I was flying over Egypt on the way home. No-one thought to tell me!0 -
No comments on Exeter? Do people agree that it is really worse than Khartoum?
BTW Exeter also charges an outrageous price for clear plastic bags.0 -
I don't bring any liquids with me in flight.
Why do you need liquids?
Bar a bottle of water I might buy AFTER security.0 -
If you are taking hand luggage only which i do quite often you would need to take any liquids through with you.
But if you are bringing hand luggage only can you really manage with a few little phials?
Or do you use hotels stuff when you arrive.
My only prob is I wear contacts & on a long flight I might need to take them out.0 -

Is there even a limit to total volume, and 100 ml could hardly be considered a vial could it? I've always just thrown lose items of (liquid based) toiletries into the tray to be scanned and never had a problem.
On topic, I'm surprised that Manchester and Birmingham have had such negative reviews considering they are perfectly clean and catered for with with the usual shops, etc and both have a dedicated train station with regular service. I prefer either to flying out of Heathrow (maybe because I live way closer to the North).
In terms of best in the world though I think Hong Kong might get it with Kuala Lumpur close behind. I look forward to using Changi and Beijing in the near future with all these glowing reviews! I find the mixed reviews on Dubai interesting although with the size of the place and the range of stuff on sale I find it hard to fault.
For no bells and whistles but a reliable service Glasgow, Edinburgh and the big European airports are all good.
Biggest disappointment would be JFK - how is such a well established airport so bad? Doha could be considered bad for the same reasons although that is a lot less cleaner and the food available is pretty crap. There is however a chain coffee shop on the 2nd floor in a corner which is much quieter. This more than liekly doesn't apply to their business class terminal but I need a job, never mind a raise before I could afford to get there.
The most dire though would be the two big Crete airports which have no redeeming features. Hot, dirty, cheap quality yet expensive - and that's just the Greek women!0 -

!
Yes, I thought there was a limit to the total volume.
And I thought you had to put them in little 100ml containers, rather than a 200ml bottle of shampoo half full.0 -

You are right there is a 100ml limit and you can't have a 200ml bottle half full. They have to be in 100ml containers.:)
The amount of people I still see having all their stuff taken off of them is unbelievable.0 -
I dont really have a favourite or worst airport, as long as theres somewhere to sit and places to get a drink or food from then im fine, the rest is immaterial to me,0

Individual containers cannot be more than 100ml in volume and each person may carry a maximum of 10 items in their hand luggage - in a clear, re-sealable plastic bag. This space has been intentionally left blank0
