Unfortunately it is obviously VERY easy for someone to vanish without trace.
As my Daughter and myself have found out!!!
However, if he wished to not have any contact with the one and only living member of his family....he would have told her first!!!
Thankyou for your post...but it really isn't very helpful.
This is the only reason that I have chosen to not hit the thankyou button. Hope you understand. When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
pbradley
think about how that sounds to this lady's daughter who is missing her father with no clue as to what has happened to him.
Yes he might not want to be found but his daughter wants to find him and I wish her all the luck in the world, I just wish I could help.I haven't got one!0 -
pbradley, I agree. This man is perfectly entitled to do whatever he wishes. I think the OP just wants to know if he is alive and safe or if he is in need of help.
If anyone knows Stephen Holmes age 49, ex husband of Lynn and dad to Kelly, please let us know that he is ok and I for one will happily butt out. On the other hand, if he is in need of help, he is a very lucky man because both his daughter and his ex wife care about him.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Hello betterbargains4u
Duplicate threads aren't allowed I'm afraid. I've only just noticed that you have this thread in the 'I wanna' board and another in the 'Marriages, Relationships & Families' board.
I'll move this thread over and then they can both be merged.

Nile,
This thread is getting much more viewers than the one on the I wanna board.
Can't you be charitable to this lady who is obviously worried sick and needs as much help as we can give her. If you really must move it, could you move it very slowly (perhaps in a few days) just to give us all chance to help her out? Please?
Also your signature wasn't very empathetic, was it? This poor lady's ex husband went on holiday and hasn't been heard from since, and you are asking "When is the next holiday?".Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -

Fella, the board guides don't make the rules. They are there to enforce them, not ignore them or bend them.
As for Niles sig, are you taking the p!ss?0 -
No, I am not being sarcastic in any way. I have been in a similar situation to this lady, and it was only through the kindness and helpfulness of strangers that my loved one was found.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0

And did having a pop at board guides help find your loved one?0 -
BB4U....I haven't read it for some years but the 'Big Issue' magazine (written by homeless people) always used to have a 'missing persons' section. People would send in photos of their loved ones, asking for them to get in touch again etc.
Their head office is in London but they circulate across the UK, I think. Their URL is https://www.bigissue.com. If you go to that site, there's also a link to the Big Issue in Japan (which can be read in English).
The Australian Big Issue has a separate site: https://www.bigissue.org.au
It may be worth publishing his profile in the magazines in all three countries as it may provide a lead.0 -
Christmasshopper & Southernscouser ... let's chill and turn our energies back to helping BB4U0
