Find a missing person

Now that you have Gordon's address, you have an adderss your ex-husband went missing from. Why don't you go back to the police with that?
I assume that your daughter is an adult because you say she contacted the police. Why don't you contact them too. Maybe 2 people reporting it could carry more weight than just your daughter reporting it.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.

My Daughter tried to report him missing at her local police staion in Ilkeston (Derbyshire) They were extremely unhelpful.
However, we may now have found out his last known address in Blackpool. When this has been verified, she is going to try to report him as missing from this address in Blackpool. When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -

The address for gordon isnt guarenteed to be his address, It is the only address I found for a Gordon Dickinson in the Blackpool and surrounding area.
The police turning up on his doorstep asking questions about a missing person are likley to cause him strees especially if his isnt the Grodon Dickinson that the missing person is connected with.
A letter address is the best way, hopfully somthing will come out of it. Gordon can read the letter in his own time and think about what action he can take eve a phone call wouldnt be a good route as he could just clam up and say nothing or hang up.0 -

We have tried the Salvation Army, but they can only search in this country.
They do not have the ability to search abroad.
Thankyou anyway. When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -

This is exactly what I had already thought. A letter is probably the best way forward.
As I had said earlier, we had already tried every listing in the phone book, with no luck.
Maybe he is ex directory...I don't know. When he does receive the letter from my Daughter, hopefully if it is the right person, he will get in touch.
We will have to wait and see.
Thankyou to you all though, for caring enough to want to help. When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -

hi, have you heard anything yet?
does he usually get in contact when travelling?
you need to make sure people listen to you, dont stop, keep asking people and see if anyone knows anything from the the local area there must be someone that knows where he is.
i just want to send my love and hope that you hear news about him soon.
