I have been doing kleeneze for 9 years now, I started exactly the same way as everyone else, with 50 books in my case, I have around 1000 customers that are happy to buy from me regularly, quite a few of those have been ordering off me for most if not all those 9 years. Not one person is forced to buy from the catalogue everyone has a choice.

I also regularly drop a few customers who decide they don't want to order from me or who haven't ordered in the last 6 months or who are a pain to get the book back from and I regularly reblanket on streets that I have blanketed half a dozen times over the last 9 years and yet somehow, miraculously, I still get orders from customers who have never ordered off me before or who have ordered off me in the past and either they decided they didn't want another book at that time or I dropped because they hadn't ordered in a while.

As for the distributor websites, Kleeneze now have official ones for every distributor called mykleeneze.com/...... , at the moment distributors are still allowed to have their own websites as well, but I am very sure that sometime soon kleeneze will stop them having their own and force everyone to use the official ones for the very reason you state.

Oh and I live in a small town in Lancashire with a population around the 15,000 mark but when I started, unknown to myself, there were 4 established distributors and 2 newbie ones including myself but I still got orders on my very first drops.

Starting from the beginning of your post - you've done this for 9 years yet only have 1000 customers? In my year I must have got near to 500, I have spoken on email to ex distributors with over 2500 customers from 3 years.

On other forums where Kleeneze is discussed , when all the usual problems come up , the lies, the half truths, the hassle of it all there is always someone who pops up to say how good it is for them and how different their experiences are. But upon digging down it's soon found they do it one a day a week and use 50 books , taking all the period to earn £50 or somesuch - this happened on another forum , the guy was doing it to get fresh air on his bike and meet people, perhaps he was lonely or something.

Either way there is a gaping chasm of difference between those that do this for pin money and those that join on the basis of *£250 - £500* a month Pt/Ft. As to the websites - they ALL have a kleeneze approval number, I'm talking of sites like Gavin Scotts, don't try and make out it's a few mavericks saying the wrong things, on gavins own site under FAQ's it's got the *** profits of £500 per month are commonplace £1,000 per month frequent £2,000 per month attainable
by anybody *** on it there for all to see.

Noting you got *orders with your first drop* - I got orders with my first drop, everyone does but when you get £25 from 200 books it's a very far cry from the £1 a book trumpeted by the likes of Gavin Scott.

As to the share price it used to be over £10 at one time I'm sure , now it looks like it's cheap shares juggled by stock brokers. Eventually this will all go pop and the likes of Gavin and his ilk will get their just rewards. The problem will be all the little people who in good faith shelled out hundreds of pounds for books and kit , the **tools** of the business as they like to say , the Xmas books 6 months before Xmas that will **boost** their business whereas in reality their customers will be sick of them after two drops. These people will be the ones to suffer, they'll be left owning money, I'll bet Kleenze will chase them for money too even though they will have lost any way to earn.

Personally I've never been freer now I'm rid of it - never appreciated my own time , my family and friends as much now I'm out of kleeneze, no more do I have to work all day to be out of pocket.
  • work all day to be out of pocket.

    Great Strapline for Kleeneze.;)

One of there directors Michael K recently tweeted

"Kleeneze - We're going from strength to strength!! Your future is secured, if you're willing to put in the #EFFORT & #DETERMINATION"

Clearly not tweeting about the same biz.:D

How true Jeanette heres a quote from one i saw on a Kleeneze site today.

"Realistically, what can I expect to earn?
The more you do the more you will earn. When starting the business part-time you will earn about £450 per month straight away when distributing 200 catalogues twice weekly. Thereafter profits of £500 per month are commonplace; £1,000 per month frequent; £2,000 per month attainable by anybody and £5,000+ per month if you're really committed. "

This particular site does not even have the required wealth warning on it !!

About time Kleeneze cracked down on this misleading practice.

    Your right WW

Distributing catalogues 200 cats twice weekly.........does this mean you have to have 400 cats & therefore how much is that going to cost me???

Distributing 200 cats (Meiow) twice weekly doesn't generate the sales. Picking up the books generates the chance of a sale

To earn about £450 per month lets say £110 per week so that approx £500 in sales @ 21% I believe

WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH - SCUM OF THE EARTH  these peope that advertise this carp  & that link should be sent to Trading Standards/BBC Watchdog/ The ASA etc etc until we rid the planet of this company..........IMO :rotfl:

Noticed a recent ad on working mums site

Where they say "Become a Kleeneze Distributor in your local area and work hard to qualify for free luxury cars and all expenses paid holidays in exotic locations"

"Earn £800 to £1600 per month."

Again no wealth warning !!! .

I wonder how many people fall for this sort of thing to start with.

I have around 1000 because that's how many I want in the time I have if I wanted more I could get more.

Regarding Gavin Scott's and other distributors websites that is presumably the reason why Kleeneze are moving towards only having the company websites, I have nothing to do with what any other distributors say on their websites if you don't like what they say report them to Kleeneze or trading standards I don't care.

I have never spoken to Gavin and he has never spoken to me I have only ever seen him speaking at the conferences, I am not an apologist for him, he hasn't been back after posting that single post (If it was him) so I am not going to speak up for him, he can speak for himself if he decides to come back.

As for the share price that is nothing to do with me and as I don't hold any shares in the company I don't care one jot about the share price and unless you do yourself I don't know why you care. Anyway Kleeneze is only 1 small company within a much larger group of companies in Findel (if I remember correctly there are over two dozen companies at least and Kleeneze isn't even the biggest one within the retail shopping group) so the share price can't be all Kleeneze's fault.

Anyway are you going to answer my question........hows your sales year on year then pete???

    Regards
    John

Jeanette has her views I have mine we are never going to agree.

As I said in my previous post I have nothing to do with Gavin Scott and he has nothing to do with me, I am one of Thousands in his group why would he have anything to do with me.

I have already answered you question about my sales previously if you can't be bothered to read back I can't be bothered to post it yet again, besides which I can only talk about my personal sales and I may be in a good area or a crap area compared to the company nationally.

If I worked for a company whose share price or whose parent company's share price was plummeting, I think I would start to care about the share price.
