Exactly no one is forced neither are we forced to leave your over priced catalogues out we can dispose of it as we wish

As for anti Kleeneze thread well they appear to be the worse of all the 3 companies including Avon

Unless you and you buddies respect my wishes not to be harassed by leaving catalogues without respecting my wishes, frankly I hope they all go bust :)

Your products are nothing short of over priced rubbish which as said can be purchased much cheaper in Home bargains, Poundland, Wilkos

If people leave notices not to have catalogues then its only reasonable and courtesy to respect their wishes if you dont well too !!!! catalogue in the bin, I dont care it costs YOU money because I am sick of leaving it out in past because the numpty gave up hope of ever making money because they were sold a lie on making lots of cash.

As has been mentioned numerous times no one is forced to buy off Kleeneze or Betterware they are perfectly able to go to town and buy from these shops if they want to, what customers like is the items are delivered direct to their doors so they don't have to go hunting around numerous shops to try and find things.

This thread is turning into an anti Kleeneze thread again Betterware sell almost exactly the same stuff as us.

Kleeneze agents whilst initially dropping to ever house at least after a few times around go down to customer base only, Betterware, as far as I know and John will be along to tell me if I am wrong, still keep dropping to every single house whether they want one or not, so how can Kleeneze be the worst.

I can only tell you what I do which is that I always leave a note when I am blanket dropping asking if the household wants another catalogue, if they say no they don't get another, there's no point leaving one as people are likely to throw it on the bin if they have previously told me they don't want one.

However I cannot do anything about any other agent and it is impossible for Kleeneze to keep any records as people move home or even die all the time so as soon as the list is compiled it is out of date.
  • The biggest reason for Kleeneze books being left, often two or more is because there are no set territories.

When I did it, if I saw someone elses books out, I walked down that street, saw more - and did the sensible thing - moved to a different street. That way I didn't lose books and built up a large customer base.

My biggest problem, especially latterly was the bad quality of the goods. The last time I did Kleeneze (a number of years now) I had more in returns than I did in sales. It was then I'd had enough, plus not getting the proper backup from the upline.

I'm doing Avon now but at least that is set territories, I've been using Avon products myself for over 30 years. I would never leave books with people who don't want them. There's no point. I'd lose not only books and money but also my time which would be better spent on someone who does want Avon.

Yes as has been mentioned numerous times SOME items you can get in the cheap shops but obviously that means apart from the expense of having to go into town 2 or 3 times a week to possibly get those products, that's if you live near one of these shops anyway not everyone has one near them, the nearest town to me with one is about 20 minutes away by car and with those sort of shops there are no guarantees it will be the same item, on the odd occasion I buy these I prefer them to look similar to the ones in the catalogue.

Plus you do not get any bonus points on them so therefore you may lose out on the next level of your bonus because you have pocketed a couple of extra quid and if the item is breaks or the customer changes her mind and wants to send it back you lose out.

I have bought items there and off ebay in the past but only when they were no longer available from Kleeneze or they were out of stock for over a month.

As has been mentioned numerous times no one is forced to buy off Kleeneze or Betterware they are perfectly able to go to town and buy from these shops if they want to, what customers like is the items are delivered direct to their doors so they don't have to go hunting around numerous shops to try and find things.

Yes the fact that you can buy the products cheaper has been mentioned many times before. But the purpose of my post was to highlight the distributor who said he gave the customer products he had bought elsewhere other then Kleeneze ones thats why i highlighted it.;)

Is it common practice with Kleeneze?

As I said I only do it if an item has sold out and no longer available or is out of stock for over a month so the customer doesn't have to wait a month for it, otherwise I would lose out on my bonus.

You yourself have recently said some of their products are crap.

They take advantage of new distributors by getting them to buy new cats when old are still ok.

That you have purchased goods from other sources and sold them to customers as Kleeneze ones to fulfil their orders.

Your doing a good job without anyone elses input. :D
  • Why not go one further and dont call on owners who particularly request not to have catalogues like a notice/sticker at their door

I applaud you for at least asking but some of us dont want to buy anything or want to be pestered by anyone at the door not matter how good the offer is

I understand yo cant do anything about other agents in that case my vent would be at the company who refuse to keep a register of households who dont want to be delivered even if that means its a annual request

So everything you have ever bought from every shop on the high street is excellent is it? If a customer isn't happy with anything they buy they get a full refund whether it's within a day or two of delivery or 2 1/2 months later. Over 2 1/2 months and I cannot refund them but I send the item back for Kleeneze themselves to refund them.

So you would be happy for my customers to be told the item is out of stock for over a month or no longer available rather than me try to provide a good service to them by trying (and not always succeeding) to find the item elsewhere.

The trouble is who would make up the list, the government, Kleeneze, Betterware, Avon?
If it was Kleeneze then would Betterware and Avon have to make their own lists up or would they all be willing to share? (not a chance in hell I suspect)
What would they do send a letter to every house in the country asking them if they were happy to be on a list for agents to leave a catalogue at their house?
Even if they were asked to reply via a post paid envelope provided in with the letter how many people would actually reply, I suspect the vast majority would not do so.
Then when the next person moves into that house they may want one or may not how does the list organiser know?
Then some people may be happy to receive a Kleeneze cat. but don't want a Betterware cat or vice versa or Avon or any other catalogue that comes through the door.
It's the same as junk mail / mail shots some people get very upset about it then you get it others who don't mind and buy from it.

In reality it just would not work.

I works with energy companies there should be an official sticker and all parties should abide by that

Few of us want catalogues, junk mail, spam, catalogues, double glazing or energy salesmen if you changed you mind its easy to take down
