Now, eating for the next 3 weeks - would you like me to send some ketchup to go with your photos? I hear it's pretty good for getting rid of the cardboardy taste :D

hehehe no thanks, we don't want to spend money for postage, do we? I will steal from work instead along with salad cream, tea and coffee. I might even go for toilet paper , you know eating cardboard will be boring after first week. :D

By the way, my weekly shopping is whopping £6 - now I called that being crafty :p:p

Hugs about your man though :(

    Good Morning Jwil & Beanielou

Sorry about my rant yesterday. I am a happy lady really, well most of the times any way. Just sometimes something little will happen and I get funny, upset. When I went to college last night, one of the guys told me that I had panda eyes as my mascara was apperently all over my face. God how bad is that. He asked me what did I do with myself , well I could hardly tell that I had a little cry in my car when I was driving because I was thinking of ''My Dear''.

    Lessons learnt

1*Don't spend your time at MSE until last minute when you are going to the college. As there might be traffic on the way and you will be late.
2*If you cry in your car, check your eyes before hand so you won't get panda eyes
3* Go and change your mascara to waterproof one ( This is the most important one):rotfl:

how bloody awful about the photos. rip off like that REALLY hack me off. I am sure you can be creative about the food. Have a look at the index on the money saving old style forum.

Ref the DLA it is meant to be to help your NSLB have as normal life as possible isn't it? In that case no matter who he is living with, then he is entitled to it?

does the ipod touch have to be new, or could you get one off ebay for less? If it has to be new, don't forget to buy it via a cash back site, so you get some money back....
topcashback and quidco are the main ones.

Yes things have been frustrating (thanks for reading my diary).

And ref the panda bear eyes, at least the bloke at your class told you so you could do something about it.... silver lining and all that.

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Daer Chevalier, another very useful post, thank you.

The Ipod touch must be new otherwise NSLB will not touch it. ''AS'' does funny things to people. He cannot stand second hand stuff. Not so sure how to break that. He rathers go without things then to have things second hand. To be honest I have never tried cashback sites, I don't even know how but sure I will check them out.

Well your diary is imazing and inspiring- being free is a very long journey and so important, and I kind of envy the life that you lead now , your kids seems to be so lucky...And great about weight loss too. One day hopefully I will be slim(ish)

Now how was my day ? I went to gym this morning, then TESCO. I changed my vauchers to get myself a Christmas gift ( a hair streightener), feel guilty buying this but it cost me nothing. Well original price was nearly £100 but it was half price so I got it for £25 worth vauchers. No so bad ha? Still , I could keep the vouchers for family day out. Oh , I am doing it again, feeling guilty. I must stop doing this somehow.

My highlight of the day was my conversation with NSLB about new Call Of Duty Game. I was dreading about the talk as it was going to create lots of arguments. I calmly told him that I would not let him to buy a game designed for 18 years and above. I was ready for the shouts, tantrums, and abuse. I was going to stick to my decision and walk away if he became volatile. I had the biggest shock in my life when he said OK mum. Just like that. OK mum... and not a word afterwards... I cannot believe it. I still cannot belive it:T:o:o
