Soap powder recommendations for eczema
Comments
-
I haven't got anything to recommend with regards to soap powder, but both my children have had mild-ish eczema and the best thing I've used to clear it up is Dream Cream from Lush. Works a treat. They also do Dream Wash which you use to, errr, wash them with
- I was given a sample of it last time I was in there so haven't actually bought any myself.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
You can also try running the washing through an extra rinse and spin at the end of a wash, this helps to get rid of all the residues.0

Fairy non bio is pretty good, or some of the non chemical ranges like the eco or similar.0
-
i use fairy non bio too, as both kids suffer from exzemaloves to knit and crochet for others0

I use Surcare its a special skin sensitive non-bio and my eczema's got a lot better since using it, you can get it in Morrisons and I've seen it in Sainsburys.
I think its a case of trying different brands though as I went through a few before I found one that helped.0 -
I've started using Surcare, I got it in Tesco, as DD2 has eczema. I'm not sure it's made much difference. Before this we used Tesco non-bio and some soda crystals, but I wondered if the soda crystals might make her eczema worse?
I rarely use fab con and I've started doing an extra rinse. I think non-bio does seem to be better than bio powders although I'm not convinced that any one brand is better than another, maybe it just depends on the person.0 -
surecare has no smell if that helps anyone whos allergic to the smellier ones, i find some make my nose bung up0

I'm v surprised to read the recommendations for Persil cos that's the only powder that brought me out in a rash.
But that was years ago so I might try Persil non-bio now cos the formula might have changed a tad
thanks MSErsBe happy, it's the greatest wealth
