Given the choice, I would rather be killed, dead than live in my own mess.
Well its fortunate then that the rest of the world doesn't live by what you want then isn't it.

Besides, what about the poor sod who has to dig the hole to bury your sorry corpse?. Do you think he / she earns more than minimum wage? or the person firing up the burners at the last BAR-B-Q? - I guess they aren't on th top 10 rich list.

Fortunately there are plenty of people in care homes who are thankful for the work that these poorly paid, and much undervalued people do for them, as do their relatives. Whilst they may not get paid well, some of them do get to experience something that you have probably never experienced and possibly never will and that is the satisfaction from doing a days work that involves helping others. I guess the whole process of 'helping others' is just an alien concept to you per se isn't it?.

At the end of the day, i'm sure that 1 thanks that the care home staff get from a resident or relative of a resident that they help dilutes a 1000 narrow minded forum posts made by faceless individuals like you, so perhaps you'd be better off haunting another thread.

Can. Overdose is one method. I seriously would.

    What if you were paralysed?

    Had no arms?

    How could you overdose then?

    If only you knew.

I've spent about 12 months in total doing voluntary work in 3 different countries volunteering so no.

And no, they weren't those expensive exchange stuff costing 3 k to pat some turtle in some island paradise. It was hard work.

    No offence.

My son is disabled and doubly incontinent. He doesn't live in his own mess - I clean him up and make sure that he is comfortable and doesn't get sore. It's just one small part of his life, which is happy and fulfilling for him, despite his disabilities.

    Cleaning faeces isn't a problem - people's attitudes are.

Yeah I can quite believe that. Your attitude towards others probably makes you unemployable so you have to give it away....

Did they declare a national holiday when you flew back out???

    lol clueless.

It involved helping out mentally challenged kids actually. Teaching basic English to kids in Poland and other 'stuff'. All voluntary out of my pocket with flight, food, housing costs.

    Good times.

    Oh really?

So you never heard of camp America, TEFL in Poland, Czech republic TEFL again?

I don't have to prove myself just because I choose not to work in a care home.
