I'm gutted :-(

I just phoned them and they said that my order had been cancelled and my money refunded due to lack of stock, that they werent going to be getting any more stock in and that the stock they did have was all gone by 12.05am Saturday.

I asked why they didnt think it reasonable to send an email to all those people who placed orders, and was told that "we dont have time to email thousands of people"

"Well we have refunded your money" Well that makes it alright then. Just refund my money and dont bother telling me why you've refunded it!

*sigh*

Thanks anyway OP, that would have been a cracking bargain!

Erm, takes about 2 seconds for office email systems to email thousands of people.

have email re second order although tbh think i was lucky to get the hdd i got,just saves the are they arent they sending it plus waiting for outcome as my cc want to reissue me as they considered my card security breached i guess because everyones multiple card debits

You tried getting £400 worth of stuff which would have stopped loads of other people getting there small orders so don`t expect any sympathy here .

I didn't try to get £400 worth of stuff, I was debited multiple times for one order. This is a consumer forum, why would I come here for sympathy and your own brand of dense sarcasm?

has anyone had money deducted from their bank account fully yet had their order cancelled?

My order hasn't arrived yet, though they told me it would be here today. I've had money taken out of my account for both orders, though its still pending. Haven't had a refund for the one they aren't going to send me or money properly taken from my account for the one I'm meant to recieve. Perhaps it is coming tomorrow?
