Hey, I haven't had a dispatch e-mail, only confirmation e-mail and no communication from them after that. :(

I dread ringing them up though for the fear of hearing that my order can't be fulfilled or has been cancelled etc!

same here, although i am wondering how they can just cancel items as their t&c's state that there is the option of waiting for it to come back in stock again?

Well if they were to get more stock in, I doubt they would offer it for the same price! They will probably just say it is out of stock and supplier hasn't got any either :(

If as someone else mentioned, they ran out of stock at 00:45, then WHY would someone who ordered at 3am still get their order?! :rotfl:

Ive rung them up, they have cancelled my order placed at 3am for stock reasons.

Apparently they ran out of stock before Saturday, which makes no sense what so ever since the sale started on Saturday.
How can those that placed orders at 7am-12pm have orderfurfilled when those that ordered previously have had them cancelled!?!

Does anyone know if I can run the TomTom software in Snooper Strabo Satellite Navigation System?

No SD card so i doubt it.

Ahhh this is interesting, having checked my online banking it seems there is nothing from Orange on my statement

Although my balances are different on the account so there must be a few pending transactions.

Doesn't look like I'm getting anything from Orange, still no dispatch e-mail! :(

    Good Morning

    Thank you for your email

Unfortunately due to a system error the funds have been pre authorized on your card without an order being raised. We apologize for this and assure you that we will cancel these transactions and return the fund to your available balance.

    Kind Regards

    Wil

Thats the email that I received from Orange after asking them about my order. Money still hasnt 'gone' back into available balance yet though.

Sorry, this is just not correct. The Ts and Cs explicitly state that they will offer you the option of waiting for them to get more in.

Can't believe how many peops are just rolling on their backs over this one and letting a company like this shaft them. A company doing stuff like this is liable to prosecution, I'm pretty sure one will be raised. You just can't go around offering stuff you don't have, 'booking' hundreds of pounds of people's money with no intention whatsoever of supplying, promising an option to resupply when items are available then withdrawing it. This is breaking the law. You also have rights as a consumer that they are breaking. Like I said before (no one seems to get it), there is a good chance that there is a Loss of Bargain claim here despite what their Terms and Conditions say. In my honest opinion.

Pixmania worked this way, and they wriggled out of thousands of cheap price TV's being supplied! I can't see that the consumer has a leg to stand on.

As it's just an "invitation to treat", we were making an offer to them, but at their peril they have the option to decline, especially if they ran out of stock due to the high demand!

Theres nothing stopping them from increasing the price of those items now for when they come back in stock so no point waiting for that!

I was told they are not having any more stock coming in.

At the price i would be happy to wait myself.
