Ordered at 3am Friday night/Saturday morning. Recieved instant confirmation email... received despatch email yestersday and item arrived today! :j

There seems to be a lot of sour grapes regarding this offer... firstly can people remember that this board is called "Quick! Grabbit While You Can" and also consider that when an offer gets posted on a board like this the vendor's system may not be able to cope with it - hence all the checkout problems. I would seriously doubt that anyone tried to order these items without having seen this thread (as I did) and so should have also read about the checkout problems and proceeded with caution... it was pointed out many times that the money was getting earmarked for each unsuccessful order so why did people proceed to try at peak user times and then moan about the money thing???

I agree with what you say.

BUT you also have a company here that is distributing goods in a random manner after fully knowing on Sunday that they had issues & what those issues were...

Bad business & open to action.

That's all well and good Downhillfast, but what about those of us who ordered BEFORE you, I ordered and got confirmation e-mail @ 00:52 on the morning the deal started, and yet you have ordered more than 2hrs later and recieved your order before me, yep that's really fair isn't it :eek:

I think someone should have the decency to offer the OP some of their stuff, seeing as how he didn't get anything but kindly posted for the rest of us.

From what I have read elsewhere some people are getting their stuff without dispatch emails being sent to them. I just hope I am one of them.

I didn't say it was fair, I merely pointed out that systems can get overloaded when offers are posted on this board... when lots of people try to place an order at the same time things get messed up yet at quiet times can be a straight forward transaction.

As for me receiving my order before yours... maybe it was again to do with my order sailing through the process at it was a quiet time... maybe yours is just delayed because there has had to be manual intervention regarding the order? Have you had a despatch email yet?

Hey, I haven't had a dispatch e-mail, only confirmation e-mail and no communication from them after that.

I dread ringing them up though for the fear of hearing that my order can't be fulfilled or has been cancelled etc!

Just called them up to enquire about the 2nd order i made regarding the satnav, made the order at about 12pm.
They said they havent got any stock, and as far as they know, they arent going to get any more in, so my order has been cancelled.
The hard drive arrived today though
