I just called via the saynoto0870 number of 01270 412020 and was told that my order would not be sent and that he did not know why the website said in stock which is unusual when they were not actually in stock. I did not order until about 12 noon yesterday (the sat nav) and I would say that most orders from this time will not be honoured. He said that no money had been debited from my account. I really did not think that this would go through so not too disappointed. Well done to all those that got in there.

  • I feel unsure about the information customer services gave me now, some people got an order number and are still not getting their stuff :S
  • Quote from another MSE type site:
Just spoken to Jennifer in Customer Services.

All the Sat Nav units have now been allocated - they only had a couple of hundred, and these were snapped up before 12.45 am. Anyone who ordered more than 1 unit will only be allocated one, and any obvious 'trade' purchases (more than 3 units) are being rejected outright.

The supplies of HD Drives and Bluetooth gear have also been allocated, but as a previous poster mentioned, they are currently talking with suppliers to see if more stocks can be obtained (apparently quite likely on BlueTooth stuff, HD Drives may be more difficult - they are looking at getting 250GB units as an alternative - if this happens, they will be selling at £12 each)
    Not Again

Same here. They had already sold out so I was told but it was a mistake for their website to show in stock.

OMG, I have just spoken to a very rude man how is basically calling you all liars. He said the orders were allocated on a first come first served basis, and all went right away. Even though I placed my order as soon as it went live he is saying I was just too late and there is no way that any one who ordered after me who have got a confirmation email and that they must be mistaken. I advised him that actually a large number of people had received confirmation emails and have been told they will be getting their orders. He said this was just speculation and is not true.

I am so angry with them, it is rubbish, basically they messed up and and tryng to cover it now

it looks like orangeaccessories staff are giving out conflicting information on this matter which is really annoying as nomatter who has heard what from orange, it means nobody really knows if they are going to get anything they have ordered!
i just ordered 1 satnav and 1 hard drive, both of which i could do with. i havent bothered ringing or emailing them to try to chase it up. looks like the staff dont know anyway!
i'm just going to sit tight and hope my products turn up soon or that they will let me wait for them to come in stock as per their t&c's :)

I have just spoken to a lovely polite lady in customer services, she confirmed that one of my orders had gone through and was due for delivery tomorrow ( order was approx (12.20am), the other was showing as nothing allocated ( 12:45am) therefore highly unlikely that this one would be fulfilled. Have not had a dispatch email though.
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
