I have had nothing from them since the confirmation of order email (Saturday) so have just emailed them to ask for a status update. Not feeling optimistic now.

    Edited to add:

I requested a confirmation of delivery email (definitely working, and happens within seconds of sending) and a 'message read' receipt, which arrives later. I have had no confirmation that the email arrived, which in the circumstances might be significant.

I ordered on Saturday morning and have had an email saying that my order (well the 50% that was in stock) was dispatched on Wednesday. Hopefully it will arrive today!

  • I've had 3 order status updates in the past 5 days all completely contradicting one another , so goodness only knows what will actually arrive. I've tried phoning them in order to ask what the correct order status is (as the one I had previously said something was out of stock and the next one I had, the item that was previously out of stock was in stock but 2 different items were out of stock instead but it just goes straight to answer phone .

    I've just had this:

Thank you for your email I am sorry that you have not received your email. Due to the high demand for our closing down sale we have not been able to send you your items on your order. Your order has been cancelled and no payment has been taken from your card.

I ordered at 12.20pm on Saturday and still have not received any update, I spent £130 including some of the perhaps less popular items like an Ergo and real nappies, I wish they would just let me know one way or the other!!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I've emailed twice this week trying to find out what is happening with my order as money has been taken but no confirmation email has been send and no sign of the order. I think the customer service is dreadful.
For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.

I sent them a second email this afternoon and got a reply to say my order had been cancelled as none of the items were in stock BUT following a stock count today they did have a red balance bike I could have (£16 out of a £130 order), I said yes please and was there any of the nappy stuff / wooden toys I had ordered and the reply was a set of boosters and a wooden kitchen stove. So in the end I have got a few things but their systems are absolutely rubbish and I do not believe they are working on a first come first served basis which is mighty crap IMO.
