hi folks,
i must spend half my salary at tesco, but recently took advantage of the cd offer where you received 500 points when you purchased two cd's. i purchased about 100 as i love music, could use them for pressies and being honest you of course got the 500 points per two cd's bought. my total has been twice reduced....7500 a couple of weeks ago and now by 25000. am left now with nearly nothing. again i shop loads at tesco so not all the 32500 is cd's. what can i do ? i have proof of purchase.....i was never told there were limits by staff....HELP ! wondering will i need go legal with them.....could i return what cd's i still have......:(

If they have removed them for abuse, I hope you are ready for a fight also. Buying 100 of the same CD is pretty clearly abuse of the offer.Gone ... or have I?0 -
what makes you think its related to the Cd offer??"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0

ok......devils adcocate here......
- t's & c's - should their staff not be aware of them and make customers aware there is limits when your purchase a certain amount in store ?
- abuse - i bought approx 20 different cd types.....not all the same version basically.....again, should i not be warned at point of sale of limits....
- surely i have entered into some sale of goods contract with them. they have given me the points and right at the last moment taken them away
appreciate all feedback, people, good and bad0 -

When you sign up to the Clubcard scheme you are made aware of the terms and conditions. There is no obligation on the retailer to remind you of these at a later date.
I cannot imagine even a DJ buying 100 CD's, with many duplicates. Therefore your purchasing pattern would indicate abuse.
You purchased a CD. Tesco provided that CD. Tesco make it very clear that the points may be removed in certain circumstances (abuse being one).
You need to speak to them. We are assuming that it is due to abuse, but only Tesco can answer your question.Gone ... or have I?0 -
could i ask for my money back IF i still had the cd's (i don't, but if i did)....so i return them0
-
dont tell me you flogged them on ebay!!!!"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0

honestly.....not a single one......have distributed amongst friends FOC and kept one couple of all versions for myself......so is that abuse (devils advocate)0
