in lamb look for neck, butchers may call it scrag end.
in beef chuck , brisket or pot roast.
Anything with stewing / casseroling in name too.

These cuts tend to need longer cooking times so in the oven would need lower temperatures, but in a slow cooker would need all day.

I love my slow cooker and bought a book of receipes so I could be more adventurous.
