hey jo/paula we had a group of friends when ours were little and have to say that because of job/personality a few of them leant heavily on me when kids were little unfortunately because of the area we lived in all the kids wandered off to different nurseries and the group sort of disbanded just at a time when my oh got sick.in our family although the youngest i am very self contained and tend to help rather than seek help .for a while i think i was a bit btitter /angry that when i needed support that that network seemed to have dissappeared .turns out i'm just one of lifes copers and i made new friends although i have to say that i am very cautious about letting anyone in to my life although i am still very open to helping others .off late i have started just concentrating on us as a family unit and then caring for others if that makes any sense.
moving to a new area i am already on speaking terms with neighbours but concentrating on getting house sorted ,then we will see i have got two friends i walk the dog with and our wed/fri 1 hour walk sorts the world to rights lol life ,men, kids and dogs are all sorted thats enough for me at present but i have recently taken back up with one of the girls from the original group and we are looking at some money making ideas have to say she was the other member that the rest relied on for confidence, parenting help .
i would suggest paula that you should maybe at a time where really you are trying to build a business and deal with bereavement that you try to focus more on likeminded women as friends rather than charity cases thats what oh used to call some of my friends lol and maybe you will not get burned next time if you know what i mean.
So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x

Hi Elly - they're not too bad, thanks! We have three french boys at the moment. They try to push the timings that they have to be home - the school says 10pm but they want to be home later, but they've not been too late yet although they moan when we say "see you at 10". They tend to take their showers at 11pm/midnight but then i guess that's better than hogging the bathroom in the mornings. It's quite nice having them here - it makes us get into some routine and obviously keep the house clean and its great when the cheques come in! It's also interesting as they're from all over the world - one of the french lads is from reunion island, which looks amazing. How arw your kids? Are they back? x

Hey Jo - great about home insurance - and haircut! Glad you like it (phew lol) x
    Hello everyone else x
PaulaBear - i was dusting my sulkies this pm at work and thought it'd be interesting to maybe have a comp where you see the most unusual place that people can photograph their sulkie? Maybe you could say something like buy a sulkie and free entry into a comp as above, actually not sure how that would work but could prompt a better idea! I just fancied photographing my sulkies in random places if i'm honest lol and i was trying to link that to profit for you as others may have the same longing! lol I hope this makes sense after a glass of wine x

hehe Em. love the idea of you snapping sulkies in random places!!
can just see it surfacing at worm charmings and commando courses and inside a giant sherbert dip.
    yay for glasses of wine.
