MummyP - I think you are on my wave length, it is the 'what if?' that I can't get past, but at the same time it is all hearsay....I think I will follow Jo's advice, and do it on Monday when I have no children around!!
Paula - should have said, the good farm shop meat isn't pumped full of water so always goes further!! As far as your friend is concerned can she contact the local blue cross and ask their advice.....obviously she shouldn't be having this dog back, you are being a good friend.
Jo, Paula - you could have a point! I hadn't thought about it before. If my DS had been 2 days earlier he would have been classed as a premie, he was just 5 10, my DD was 2 weeks early and weighed 6 10. My DS catches everything going as does my DD but she fairs a little better than he does. I seem to remember that it is in the last week or so that they take in moms antibodies - so could it be that ours missed out on that and hence catch everything and have to make their own??? Doesn't explain why I catch everything too though lol! OOO it does, I was a month early and only 4lb when I was born....... can't believe I nearly forgot that!!
MummyP - I know what you mean about the price of joints and chicken from a butcher BUT from the same size chicken/joint I can always get an extra meal from the butcher meat than I can from the Tescos....e.g. enough for a roast and a curry from the butcher but just enough for a roast from the supermarket bird.....I know if I was really good I could probably get an extra meal again, or at least a soup/stock but I tried it for a while and didn't find it worth the hassle. I really should go back to the farm shop....oo also our farm shop sells crowns of chicken so that is cheaper as we are only paying for what we are eating but I still get the two meals at least!Life is a work in progress0 -

Good morning everyone
Sorry I didn't get back last night, had a funny turn. Glad you sorted things out though, Baby.
Nixi...I'm rubbish at advice, and I think you've had the best advice from everyone else, so I'll echo that. I understand your problem, though, it would really bare on my concious. Conscius. Okay, I can't spell!
Mabel, I love your new collection!
Jo, I'm glad DS is getting better.
Hugs everyoneSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Morning dribblers,
Oh no mabel what has she done this time.
Paula I find the butcher better than Mr T,s for a lot of my meat. I go to the Market butcher on Walton street, he is very good and sells Scotch beef. I buy bacon joints and stick em in the slow cooker, great for sandwiches and salads. I usually only buy tesco if it is reduced. ( I always shop early evening) or on special offer. I think their beef is often tough. I also buy fresh chickens from the market butcher and freeze them. When they defrost hardly any water comes out so are much better value.Jan £10 a day £326.75/£3100 -
Hi all
How is everyone?
Nixi I read your dilemma was very freaked out by it. I new of the little girls from soham who were murdered, they lived on the same road as mum's best friend at the time. First thing I would have done is gone to the police, not you but your friend obvs. If he has nothing to hide he will appreciate that your friend is doing what they thought was best.
Hope I haven't missed any on elses? if so hollar

Just realised that here I am asking you guys for advice and one of my old neighbours and friends used to be a special for many many years, and in fact he still might be, so I have just emailed him to ask his opinion. Thank you allLife is a work in progress0

Nope I've been constructing fence no4-if she gets over this i'm entering her for the olympics! Another runner bean has bitten the dust Rosie but luckily my friend had some extras (that i gave her to start with) so am back to full power! Somehow the puppy had managed to jump back over the fence and take one of the slug traps with her???!!!0
