Evening everyone
Hunt Down £100 - £30 to add to my total please = £38! Transferred the money from my Paypal account that I was going to spend on who knows what. Now it's safely in my savings account thanks to this mini challenge. Woohoo! If I can get Ikea to take these blinds back on Saturday, I may actually reach my £100 goal.

I've even considered taking a couple of mystery shopping jobs on again this week to help the mini challenge, but not taken the plunge yet. Did lots and lots before I went on holiday last May to help my spending money fund, and got thoroughly sick of doing them, so not sure I want to start it again. But I suppose money is money!!

Ooh lemon meringues are calling me from the kitchen. "Joooooooo, come and eat meeeee". I can't resist. <MUST EAT MERINGUES>

No problem Saucy. How long was your course and have you nearly finished it? Was that the one you were going to do distance on? Would be a pity not to finish what you've started. A friend of mine did forensic psychology in Belgium, found it difficult to get the job she wanted afterwards though unfortunately. Have you looked in to the vet course in Spain? I ask only because I presume it would be in Spanish??? :eek:

I tend to leave a bit of money in my Paypal account to cover any bits and pieces I buy from ebay, but as I'm trying not to spend money on worthless things, I decided to use it for the challenge.

Sorry, the meringues wouldn't let me leave them alone in the fridge, so I just HAD to eat them. Yummy!

Hope DD had a great time at Alton Towers Toots, despite her reservations!

Off to docs in a min with DS - nothing too serious but not happy to leave him all night without checking him out. prob just a throat infection but finding it har even to swallow saliva and can only open mouth a cm or so without gagging and starts to retch if he talks due to the pain. also making kind of chewy swallowy noises in one side of his mouth all the time and says he feels like its not phlegm but part of his body.
not really hapy to leave him all night when he is struggling to swallow his own spit.
however he is not as hot as the previous 2 days. bizarre!
will update later.
