I tend to leave a bit of money in my Paypal account to cover any bits and pieces I buy from ebay, but as I'm trying not to spend money on worthless things, I decided to use it for the challenge.
Sorry, the meringues wouldn't let me leave them alone in the fridge, so I just HAD to eat them. Yummy!
Hope DD had a great time at Alton Towers Toots, despite her reservations!
I'm off to bed with my very full tummy now. Night all
xx
Excellent idea re the Paypal account, I try to keep a wee bit in there too, but it seems to have vanished recently....
Hehe, DD had a great time at Alton Towers (lol Nixi!), she'd sent me a text through the day to say she was just about to go on a really scary ride - surprised me no end, because she doesn't normally do that kind of thing. Next text said it was soooooooo scary. But she was just about to go on it again!! She was knackered but hyper, and anyone who knows my daughter will tell you that once she starts talking you just lose an hour of your life, so it was gone 1am before any of us got any sleep last night!! I might crash and burn at some point, used to stay up will the wee small hours regularly, but I think my age is telling!!hi folks just popping in on way to bed - have had a rush cake (duck with necklace, handbag and baby - two cakes carved into head and body quite hard going~)

They don't want me on site, pretty much. Have to sit the exams to progress, so I'm not sure what will happen...they have said they will contact me. The vet course is in English, but the placements would be in Spanish vets, and start from 4 months onto the course, so I'd need to learn fast! I'm not really sure what to do. Thank you for askingWe are back. its severe tonsilitis but hasn't got a peritonsillar abcess(sp?) which was one of their concerns given his symtoms. but very angry and puss-y all the same. so started on penicillin for 5 days and should be fine. poor thing kept retching when they tried to get him to say aaah but they did eventually manage to get a look.
Elly, hope your shed building goes well!!!! Sounds like a great idea with the keyrings, I say go for it!
MummyandPaige, certainly seems like you've got the flying bug baaaaaaaad!!! Hehe, the 15 minute thing really really works, I felt a bit silly at first setting the timer, but its amazing how much you can get done. Your house must be sparkling like a shiny pin now!! LMAO at Mabel's comment re the big loofah!!!!!
Countdown now 7 days (YAY) as OH will be home a week tomorrow!!!! Wooohoooo!! M&P he's Canadian and doing a scaffolding apprenticeship out at the oil sands in Canada just now. It's a three year apprenticeship and he's 2 years in lol, so we'll be doing this for a while yet. He went back out there in January, so it's been a long lonely 6 months let me tell you!
Hope everyone is having a good Friday! I'm boss around here for the next 2 weeks as directors on holiday, so I'll no doubt be on here a lot more!!!

Nixi, if you can afford it see a reflexologist. I treated a friend when I was training who had terrible period pains, and her symptoms improved a lot.0

Sorry to hear that Aunt Flo is causing you so much grief Nixi! I have to be honest and say mine was a lot easier after having had the kids, for quite a few years, then started to get bad again. No idea why tbh and I never really asked, just kind of got on with it. But then your body has certainly been through the mill and back so it may still be adjusting hormonally. For what it's worth, and yes another TMI warning here!!!! .... doc wouldn't continue with my pill prescription because of my age and the fact that I'm a smoker. Long story cut short, regular IUD fitted, utter nightmare, Aunt Flo wasn't just visiting, she was living with us, wasn't coping at all. So after causing a fuss, Mirena IUD fitted and what a wonderful life I lead! Aunt Flo pops in for a day or so every few months and I've totally forgotten what PMT is!

Nixi, mine are very different to before kids but not in the same way as you except pmt is definitely worse but not every time. my friend had it really bad for a while and started taking more vitamin B I think which helped but took a while to get properly in her system. Will check with her what it was if you want as am seeing her on Sunday.
You have been through a lot so would imagine your body may take a while to adjust.
big hugs

Nixi - firstly, sorry, I forget people don't understand me when I rabbit on, I tend to type my thoughts and don't check back what I have written. A bath is the term used by fishermen to discribe the box/pot/tub of longlines they use (1/4 of a mile long each). In the good old days they used to be taken out in old tin baths and the name stuck
(End of history lesson :P)
Right, TMI, again! ok, after having DD1, Aunty Flo has not been around much (breast feeding), but when she did return, I got really, really bad back pains and cramp and I never got them before, also tampons made it worse, alot worse, so they went out the window. But might not be the most reliable source as it took just short of a year for them to come back after DD1 and I only had 2 before DD2 was in the oven and I haven't had any since, not looking forward to them returning.....OH, and the way I knew they were coming was the fact that I ate anything and everything the week before, just couldn't stop eating
Hope you can find some sort of relief, have to say once mine come back, I am getting one of those wotsits that makes them stop, no more babies for me.

MandP sounds like you are extremely busy. hope you are finding some time to rest too. lol about you givimg all the fisherman baths for £20 a go. hehehe
Elly thats really interesting about the dairy.
DD has only been to docs about twice in her life whereas DS has been loads. interestingly she was the 2 weeks overdue 8 and half pound baby whereas he was the 4 week early 5 pounds 2 baby.
Still he has had a better winter than the last 2 so seems to be improving.
Toots yay for it only being a week till OH comes back. must be soooo exciting. Really glad DD enjoyed Alton towers - bet she's really proud of going on those rides. hope you are not too exhausted.
Mabel - get on with the description. have sold a book on amazon. does that count towards my giant jump or does it have to be something separate to what I was already doing!
DS seems slightly brighter but still not talking. he is sat at my mums eating ice cream though which has put a little smile on his face.
