What do you do with the paraffin wax that helps your Gran's arthritis Nikki? My fingers are really sore just now and frankly I'll jump on anything that will make me feel less like I'm turning 81 this year, rather than 41 :D

The heat from the paraffin wax helps to drain the synovial fluid which 'gathers' around the joints. It seems to ease her joints and allows her a fair bit more movement in her fingers than before it IYKWIM?

I've recommended it to a few clients who have arthritis and they all seem to have benefited from it. HTH.
  • Thanks again Toots. Went to find that link, then got up, couldn't remember what I was doing but knew I was looking for something and tripped over the computer chair. Got a sore head now, lol.

    Hi Nixi :)
Em, I'm currently on a course to become a forensic psychologist, but I've been offered a place on a veterinary course in Spain. I haven't decided yet...books would be good, though. PM me prices? Thank you :)

one more thing.....Nikki, I meant to say, that is a great idea on the paraffin, I know my hands by the end of the week are so so sore and swollen, I may have to invest in another little slowcooker and try that sometime. Now if knees would fit in it!!! lol
