Hi EVERYONE.
Well done to those who are hunting down £100. seems to be lots of moving forward on that front.
I'm working on my giant jump for June week 1. Tonight I saved around £1.50 by making home made soup instead of buying covent garden. yay.

Hi everyone - i hope everyone's ok??
Long day back at work for me today. I hope my students decide to go out this evening, as i'm so tired. I know that sounds awful but at least then they're with friends and can entertain each other. One of them doesn't like the dog so it's a constant battle trying to keep him away.
Nixi - i hope you're feeling better, big hugs xxx
Saucy - that sounds great that you're taking steps towards accessing your health care, i hope things start moving faster for you now.
NLID - congratulations, great that you managed to take some time out with the family
Right, best get dinner on - chicken a la king tonight, easy meal - throw it all in the big frying pan, yum. Catch up shortly xxxJust £10,852.28p to go...

Hi Jo - enjoy your soup, home-made soup's yummy. I saved a pound by buying two boxes of Mars ice creams for £3 instead of £4 - i know that's cheating! I actually spent £1 more than needed as i only needed one box. And i had one ice cream for a starter and will have one for pud.Just £10,852.28p to go...

Evening everyone!
Hope everyone has been having a good day! To save my pound today I walked to work...Yikes 5miles rt. Came home, had leftover sunday dinner for tea (loads left over) and the rest is in the slowcooker with a few extra bits and will be turned into stew for tomorrow and thursday lol Now sat down with rather sore knees and a nice cup of amaretto tea.
Been hunting down fabric......I can only say sooooooooooooo much choice and have no clue what to buy!!!! Really could use some advice or thoughts on what is appealing etc. Still working out pricing for the basic blankets and have been mulling over ideas using beads, ribbon, photos etc for the remaining more custom ones. I love doing the custom ones but of course they take much more time to do.
Right, back to surfing fabric for a bit oh and if anyone wants my linkedin addy, just send me a pm and more than happy to join you!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Hi Evenstar, glad to hear you got in your new house and love it. hurray!!
Munchki. wow walking to work is dedication indeed and put me to shame with your use of food.
hope you are enjoying browsing fabrics. not sure I can really advise on what would be popular though.

Hi Jo, would not call walking to work dedication, more like not much other choice! lol
I believe in the adage of waste not want not when it comes to food and will try and use up everything, within reason of course. Have come up with some very interesting things on the menu from time to time to say the very least.
As for advice on popular fabrics etc, more interested in your individual tastes, call it a bit of market research. I have been asking lots of odd questions at work today and think they must now think I have lost the plot lol, but need to get a broad spectrum of tastes and opinions so that I can buy different, yet appealing items to make this happen.I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0
