Night night everyone - heading off for a reasonably early night. DD is heading for Alton Towers on Thursday for a day trip with the school, but I have to have her there for 2am and when she comes back, she arrives at midnight! So I'm hoping to get a headstart on my sleep!!!

Lol thanks skint, that 10p may well make the difference at the end of the week.

Tired here this morning, need to get off my backside and create some lunch and dinner for work soon so I don't spend any money whilst at work. I have decided to give myself a budget of £3 per day to spend on lunch, and if I don't spend it the mortgage gets it. Hopefully that's the push I need not to spend any money.

thinking seriously about getting the pandora stuff ,think its time to reinvest .I enjoy the boot sale but enjoy the keyring, jewellery and painting selling the most. So think if my stock is lighter then so is my fuel cost .going to do them just once a month and thought about making some cheap ones for teenagers with the beads i got already and black lace any thoughts welcolme. anyone know how to make the boards that you pin jewellery on or cheap craft boxes to seperate my beads into would be a great help ta elly

Mambury all I can suggest is setting an intention at the beginning of the day in the "just for today" style. try to frame it in the positive.
so instead of just for today I won't shout at the kids. maybe just for today I will respond calmly. or just for today I will pause before responding in the best way I can. Just for today I will accept that arguments are temporary and part of learning about life. just for today I will ask if my help is neded before intervening. Just for today I will be kind to myself if I am not sure how to handle things. etc
sorry if too fluffy. other suggestion is rather than trying to sort out the right and wrong of a situation and change it just see if you can think of any playful ways you can shift the atmosphere or energy. the dafter the better. or even better try at several times during the day to spend a little time involved in their play and lightening it up a bit by being a bit silly yourself or having a few standby activities handy?
    good luck

Could you use cheap cork pin boards covered with a fabric for the display boards?

I use clean plastic takeaway tubs for separating my beads into. Not sure if that's what you mean though.

Morning :-) sorry Mambury i'm fresh out of patience, i used all mine on the broken website and photographs yesterday! Good luck though :-)
    Thanks Rosie :-)
Hi Elly, i made a jewellery board just from thick cardboard with thin polystyrene over it and then covered with cloth the pins then go into the polystyrene and hold the jewellery.

    2am toots??!!!! blimey hun :-(

Hi Yukki-that sounds like a good plan with the lunch /mortgage-good motivation.

Hi to everyone else I've missed-its a nightmare to catch up some mornings lol!

I've given up on the new piece of jewellery, now have 7 prototypes and its turning into a structural engineering project, sometimes the damn things just wont sit right! Going out to buy some seed potatoes and then sieve a patch of the garden to get rid of some of the major stones. (Our place is built in an old quarry...hence quite a lot of stones!)
